      J.D. Martinez went 3-for-3 with two home runs and three RBI in a 5-1 win over the Padres on Saturday.

      Advice: Martinez hit his first home run 391 feet off of Jhony Brito in the fourth inning and then followed that up with a 382-foot shot in the seventh. He now has eight home runs and 26 RBI in 43 games for the Mets so far this season.       Chas McCormick went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in a loss to the Tigers on Saturday.

      Advice: McCormick didn’t start this game, but all five Astros’ runs were driven in by players who were on the bench for the first pitch. The home run was McCormick’s first of the season but was a no-doubted, hit 428 feet at 106.5 mph. He’s battled through injuries this year and is hitting just .209 on the season, but Jake Meyers has also started to struggle, so there is a chance that McCormick could push for more playing time if he can start swinging the bat well.       In addition to a left rib contusion, Bryant has an internal oblique strain and is without a timetable for return, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports Saturday.

      Advice: Initially, Bryant missed three straight games due to back soreness, but when he was placed on the 10-day IL on June 6th, the medical staff deemed the injury a left rib contusion. Nine days later, it's now known that Bryant is also battling an oblique strain and a timeline for return hasn't been established.
