    • Eugenio Suarez reaches five times against Giants
Eugenio Suárez went 2-for-3 with three runs scored in a blowout win for the Diamondbacks on Friday over the Giants.

Advice: Suárez also drew three walks, so it’s a five-reach game for the 32-year-old veteran. He also drove in a run with a single in the ninth inning to give Arizona a 16-1 lead. Still counts. In his first season with the Diamondbacks, Suárez is now slashing a less-than-spectacular .240/.314/.360, but this did break up a 1-for-17 scuffle over his previous five games. • Dansby Swanson leads Cubs past Marlins on Friday
Dansby Swanson singled, doubled, scored twice, drove in a run and drew a walk on Friday afternoon, helping to lead the Cubs to an 8-3 victory over the visiting Marlins.

Advice: The 30-year-old shortstop delivered a two-out, run-scoring double off of A.J. Puk in the first inning that extended the Cubs’ early lead to 2-0. He then worked a walk in the third inning and scored on a two-run double by Miguel Amaya. Swanson also smacked a leadoff single to start the fifth inning and came around to score on an RBI knock off the bat of Mike Tauchman. With his two-hit day, Swanson is now slashing .254/.325/.408 to go along with two homers, eight RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Today, 5:03 pm

    • Tyler O’Neill (concussion) targets Tuesday return
Tyler O’Neill (concussion) is hoping to return for next Tuesday’s series opener against the Guardians.

Advice: O’Neill confirmed Thursday to reporters that he’s been diagnosed with a concussion and has been dealing with some dizziness and lightheadedness. He added that he was feeling a bit better on Thursday a few days after a brutal on-field collision with teammate Rafael Devers. He’ll travel with the team this weekend, despite being on the 7-day concussion injured list, and is hoping to be ready to return when first eligible next week. There should be some clarity on his status at some point this weekend or early next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:25 pm

    • Hopes to return when eligible
O'Neill (concussion) will travel with the Red Sox to Pittsburgh this weekend and hopes to be activated when first eligible Tuesday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Advice: O'Neill confirmed that he has a concussion as a result of his collision with Rafael Devers on Monday, but he's feeling better and is aiming for a minimum absence. It's too soon to count on that, of course, given the uncertain nature of concussions. O'Neill is third in baseball with seven home runs this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:03 pm

    • Goes deep Wednesday
Santander went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Santander has gone 3-for-18 over his last five contests. That's not a great stretch, but so far, he's in little danger of losing playing time as manager Brandon Hyde gets creative to keep Colton Cowser in the lineup. Santander is batting .203 with four homers, 15 RBI, nine runs scored, two doubles and no stolen bases through 74 plate appearances as the Orioles' primary right fielder. • Goes on 7-day IL
Boston placed O'Neill on the 7-day concussion injured list Thursday.

Advice: O'Neill collided with teammate Rafael Devers in Monday's 6-0 loss to the Guardians, and while he cleared initial concussion protocol, he's now been diagnosed with a mild concussion, per Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican. O'Neill also required stitches for a laceration on his forehead. He will be eligible to return from the IL next Tuesday. Rob Refsnyder (toe) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list to take O'Neill's spot on the 26-man active roster. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:45 am

    • Red Sox place Tyler O’Neill on 7-day IL
Red Sox placed OF Tyler O’Neill on the 7-day injured list, retroactive to April 16, with a concussion.

Advice: Despite O’Neill clearing concussion tests, the 28-year-old still needs to get back into baseball activities before he can return to action. He’ll be sidelined for at least the next weeks while he recovers from a nasty collision with Rafael Devers during Monday’s game against the Guardians. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:38 am

    • Out again Thursday
O'Neill (forehead) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Guardians, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Advice: O'Neill is still on the mend after needing stitches for a forehead laceration that he suffered during a collision with teammate Rafael Devers on Monday. The good news is that he's cleared concussion protocol and he could be back in the lineup as soon as Friday in Pittsburgh. Jarren Duran and Wilyer Abreu are in the corner outfield spots for the Red Sox on Thursday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:48 am

    • Finally goes yard
Acuna went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Astros.

Advice: It took 17 games, but last year's NL MVP finally went deep in 2024, as Acuna got hold of a J.P. France sweeper to lead off the fifth inning and launched it 422 feet to straightaway center field. Despite the slow start in the power department, the 26-year-old has still been very productive from a fantasy perspective, slashing .294/.400/.397 with six RBI, eight steals and 17 runs scored -- third in the Senior Circuit behind Mookie Betts (22) and Ketel Marte (20).
