    • Replaced on ASG roster
Helsley was replaced Monday by Kyle Finnegan on the National League All-Star Game roster.

Advice: Helsley indicated to Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that he wasn't likely to pitch in Tuesday's All-Star Game and instead wished to take the full break for rest and recovery. The 29-year-old closer confirmed he was healthy and is merely monitoring his workload, having already appeared in 41 games and thrown 42.0 innings this season. Helsley's career high in appearances is 54, and he hasn't pitched more than 64.2 innings in an individual season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:46 pm
    • Helsley scratched, Finnegan added to NL All-Stars
Ryan Helsley has been scratched from the NL All-Star roster and will be replaced by Kyle Finnegan.

Advice: No immediate reason was given for Helsley’s removal. He had a busy first half, but considering that he’s pitched just once in the last 10 days, he’s pretty rested at the moment. It’s the first All-Star nod for Finnegan, who has a 2.45 ERA and 25 saves as the Nationals’ closer. Rotoworld Today, 2:26 pm
    • Falters into sixth win
Kimbrel (6-2) blew a save but picked up the win Sunday, allowing three runs on one hit and two walks over one inning against the Yankees. He struck out one.

Advice: Kimbrel came on in the ninth looking for his 24th save but quickly blew that opportunity by allowing a couple of walks followed by a three-run homer by Ben Rice. To his credit, Kimbrel then retired the next three batters, making him the pitcher of record when the Orioles completed their own comeback in the bottom of the inning. Despite Sunday's outing, Kimbrel has been highly effective in his first season with the Orioles, entering the All-Star break with six wins, 23 saves, a 2.80 ERA, a 0.96 WHIP and 53 strikeouts in 39 appearances spanning 35.1 innings. • Kimbrel blows save vs. Yankees before getting the win
Craig Kimbrel blew a save Sunday against the Yankees after allowing a three-run homer to Ben Rice in the top of the ninth.

Advice: Kimbrel found himself in immediate trouble after walking back-to-back batters to begin the frame before serving up the go-ahead blast to Rice. The Yankees would go on to blow the lead in the bottom of the ninth due to a pair of defensive miscues, so Kimbrel actually got the win. Baseball, man. This was Kimbrel’s first appearance in a week and he had allowed just one run over his last 21 innings coming into Sunday’s action, so fantasy managers shouldn’t overact to one bad outing. • Notches 32nd save
Helsley recorded his 32nd save of the season Saturday, giving up a hit and striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning during the second game of a doubleheader sweep of the Cubs.

Advice: After blowing a save July 5, Helsley got an extended rest and bounced back with a strong performance. The right-hander has hardly been struggling lately though -- he's allowed earned runs in only one of his last 12 appearances, posting a 1.38 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 16:9 K:BB over 13 innings during that stretch. Helsley's 32 saves leads the majors, three clear of the Guardians' Emmanuel Clase, and that impressive first half has earned him his second career All-Star Game berth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:25 am
    • Keeps rolling with 29th save
Clase earned a save against the Rays on Saturday, allowing one hit in a scoreless inning.

Advice: Clase entered in the ninth frame and gave up a one-out single but was able to protect Cleveland's two-run lead. The right-handed closer once again didn't notch a strikeout -- he hasn't punched out a batter in any of his past six appearances -- but that hasn't prevented him from being effective, as he's gone 4-for-4 in save chances during that span. Clase's belied the typical closer profile with a modest 7.9 K/9 on the campaign, but he's been almost untouchable with 29 saves (second most in the majors) in 32 opportunities, a 0.81 ERA and 0.68 WHIP over 44.1 innings. • Ryan Helsley closes out Cubs again on Saturday
Ryan Helsley registered his league-leading 32nd save of the season on Saturday night, working a scoreless ninth inning to protect a one-run lead against the Cubs.

Advice: Helsley made things interesting as he allowed a one-out single to Seiya Suzuki — who then advanced to second on a wild pitch. He rallied though to get Ian Happ on a ground ball to third base and Christopher Morel on strikes to end it. Helsley has been an unstoppable force out of the Cardinals’ bullpen this season, posting a 2.36 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and a 48/17 K/BB ratio over 42 innings while securing 32 saves in 34 chances. • Clase picks up 29th save against Rays Saturday
Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless inning and picked up the save against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Clase’s save was his 29th of the season. He leads all American League relievers and trails only Ryan Helsley in saves this year. Clase’s 0.81 ERA only adds to the dominant season he’s having as one of the best relievers in fantasy baseball this year. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:48 pm

    • Idle Saturday
Moreno is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Moreno missed Wednesday's game with lower-back tightness before going 1-for-3 Thursday and 0-for-4 in Friday's contest. He'll get a night off Saturday as Jose Herrera catches and bats ninth. Rotowire.com Saturday, 3:22 pm
