    • Three more steals Wednesday
De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and three stolen bases in Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Phillies.

Advice: It's already the second three-steal game for De La Cruz this season -- he's up to a league-leading 15 stolen bases on the campaign. The 22-year-old shortstop has been sensational through the first month of the year, batting .313 with a 1.063 OPS, seven home runs, 23 runs scored and 18 RBI through his first 24 games. • Elly De La Cruz swipes three bases in victory
Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a double and three steals as the Reds topped the Phillies 7-4 on Wednesday.

Advice: De La Cruz has finally gotten to ascend to the second spot in the lineup that he was expected to fill during spring training. and he’s batting .313/.412/.820 in 97 plate appearances. He’s stolen 15 bases in 18 attempts, and he seems like the best bet of anyone to lead the majors in that category this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:57 pm

    • Juan Soto wallops sixth homer in win over A’s
Juan Soto swatted a solo homer on Wednesday in the Yankees’ win over the Athletics.

Advice: Soto connected for a towering 416-foot blast to left-center field off Athletics reliever Danny Jiménez in the sixth inning to extend the Yankees’ lead to a commanding three-run margin at the time. It was his sixth round-tripper of the year. It was the first time he’s gone deep in five games since April 19. The 25-year-old generational talent holds a robust .319/.431/.564 triple-slash line with 17 runs scored, six homers, 22 RBI and one steal across 116 plate appearances in his Yankees debut. • Jhoan Duran to make another rehab outing on Friday
Jhoan Duran (oblique) will make another appearance in a minor league rehab game on Friday.

Advice: Duran looked electric in his first appearance at Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday, despite allowing a pair of runs on four hits. He also struck out three batters, fired 15 of his 27 pitches for strikes and averaged 98.1 mph on his heater. If all goes well with Friday’s outing, he could then be cleared to rejoin the Twins’ bullpen. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:27 pm

    • Another rehab outing on tap
Duran (oblique) is scheduled for a second rehab appearance with Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Advice: According to Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com, the right-hander averaged 98.1 mph with his fastball -- down a couple ticks from the usual triple digits -- and surrendered two runs on four hits over one inning during Tuesday's rehab outing, but he felt fine physically during and after the appearance. Duran said he dealt with some mechanical issues during spring training that affected his velocity, and it's possible those problems flared up again. It's unclear how many rehab outings the Twins are looking for, but the 26-year-old could return within the next week if he continues to progress with no issues. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:33 pm

    • Out with dental issue
Raleigh isn't starting Wednesday against the Rangers after undergoing an emergency procedure to remove one of his teeth, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Advice: Raleigh reportedly played with a broken tooth during Tuesday's win and had it removed early Wednesday. Seby Zavala will start behind the plate for Seattle and bat ninth while Raleigh is sidelined. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:04 pm

    • Sits in second straight game vs. LHP
Stott is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Stott is on the bench for the second day in a row while the Phillies oppose another left-handed starting pitcher (Nick Lodolo). Whit Merrifield will get another turn at the keystone in place of Stott. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:02 pm
    • Takes seat versus lefty
O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

Advice: The lefty-hitting O'Hearn will retreat to the bench while southpaw Tyler Anderson toes the rubber for the Angels. O'Hearn's absence clears up the designated-hitter spot for Adley Rutschman, allowing Rutschman to get a day out of the field while James McCann handles catching duties for Baltimore. • Secures ninth save
Holmes struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his ninth save of the season in a 4-3 win over the A's.

Advice: The right-hander needed only nine pitches (seven strikes) to carve up the bottom of the Oakland order. Holmes has been brilliant to begin the season, converting nine of 10 save chances with a 0.00 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 10:1 K:BB through 12 innings, and he sits one ahead of the Padres' Robert Suarez for the MLB saves lead.
