    • Ramirez blasts 23rd home run in win Saturday
Jose Ramirez went 2-for-5 with two runs scored, a double, a solo home run and two RBI against the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Ramirez’ home run was his 23rd of the season. He had an RBI double in the fifth inning to give the Guardians a 4-2 lead. He scored on Josh Naylor’s RBI double to make it 5-2 and his home run in the seventh inning made it 7-2. Ramirez is hitting .280 with an .890 OPS and 75 RBI on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:05 pm
    • Smacks homer in loss
Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 10-3 loss to the Royals.

Advice: Ramirez is up to six homers and 16 RBI over 21 contests in June while hitting .294 (25-for-85) for the month. The third baseman opened the scoring Friday, but the Royals poured on seven runs before the Guardians had a response. Overall, Ramirez continues to provide elite all-around production with 22 homers, 73 RBI, 62 runs scored, 15 stolen bases and a .278/.332/.547 slash line through 77 contests. • Handed loss Friday
Taillon (4-4) allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out five and taking a loss against Milwaukee.

Advice: Taillon worked through three shutout frames before coughing up a grand slam to Jackson Chourio in the fourth inning. Taillon is now 1-2 over his last four starts despite registering a 2.16 ERA during that stretch. He's given up three or fewer earned runs in all but one of his 13 starts this season. Taillon owns a strong 3.03 ERA with a 58:17 K:BB through 74.1 frames this season. He's projected to face the Phillies at home next week. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:38 pm
    • Throws six scoreless innings in win
Suarez (4-2) earned the win over the Rangers on Friday, allowing three hits and no walks while striking out two over six scoreless innings.

Advice: Suarez was efficient, needing just 87 pitches to toss his first quality start of the season. The righty generated only six swinging strikes, but this was a huge bounceback after he had allowed eight earned runs over his previous two outings. On the season, Suarez owns a 2.45 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 45:22 K:BB over 59.1 innings and lines up to face the Athletics next week. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:15 pm

    • Jameson Taillon delivers quality start in loss
Jameson Taillon lost to the Brewers after surrendering four runs — three earned — in six innings Friday.

Advice: Taillon managed to record a fourth straight quality start tonight, though only barely. Unfortunately, he’s won just one of those four outings and has no other victories since May 4. Still, he can’t complain overly much about being 4-4 with a 3.03 ERA when teammate Justin Steele is 0-3 with a 3.08 ERA. Rotoworld Friday, 8:08 pm
    • Albert Suárez scoreless over six innings in win
Albert Suárez shut the Rangers out over six innings on Friday. He struck out two and walked none in a 2-1 win for the Orioles.

Advice: This was Suárez’s first quality start of the season. In fact, it was the first time he completed six innings. He didn’t have great swing and miss stuff or command of his off-speed pitches, but filled up the zone with his fastball and forced the Rangers into plenty of lazy fly balls. It’s hard to get very excited about him until we see more consistent strikeout totals. He has just 21 punch outs in 25 innings this month. Rotoworld Friday, 6:45 pm

    • Steals, reaches three times in win
Marsh went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks and a stolen base in a 2-0 win over the Marlins on Friday.

Advice: Marsh doubled in the second inning and walked and stole second in the fourth. He later walked again in the eighth and has reached base seven times in his past two starts with a home run and a steal. Thanks to recent injuries to Bryce Harper (hamstring) and Kyle Schwarber (groin), Marsh was in the cleanup spot Friday night and will likely continue to hit in the middle of the order against right-handed pitching while his teammates remain on the injured list. The 26-year-old is now hitting .270 with seven home runs, 31 RBI, 25 runs scored and nine steals through 225 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Friday, 6:22 pm

    • Brandon Marsh reaches three times in win on Friday
Brandon Marsh doubled, drew a pair of walks and stole a base as the Phillies triumphed over the Marlins on Friday evening in Philadelphia.

Advice: Marsh led off the second inning with a double and advanced to third on a fly ball but was left stranded there. He then drew a one-out walk off of Kyle Tyler in the fourth inning and swiped second base to get himself into scoring position, but the Phillies were unable to cash him in. The 26-year-old outfielder is enjoying a solid season — slashing .270/.351/.429 with seven homers, 31 RBI and nine stolen bases. Rotoworld Friday, 5:48 pm

    • Devin Williams (back) to throw bullpen Saturday
Devin Williams (back) is scheduled to throw another bullpen session on Saturday.

Advice: The 29-year-old hurler felt great after his first bullpen session, so he’ll continue to ramp up as long as he’s feeling good. He’s also tentatively scheduled to throw his first live batting practice on July 9, assuming that he doesn’t suffer any setbacks along the way. If things go according to plan, he could be ready to return to the Brewers’ bullpen immediately following the All-Star break. Rotoworld Friday, 3:22 pm
