    • Clean inning for save
Scott struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 4-3 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Scott is on a 10-inning scoreless streak, during which he's maintained an 11:3 K:BB with five saves and a win. The closer continues to excel for the Marlins, though the team's poor performance has limited him to 13 saves this year. He's posted a 1.42 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 42:23 K:BB through 38 innings, though he's made progress to cut back on walks during his recent strong stretch. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago

    • Steals home in loss
Chapman went 1-for-3 with two walks, one stolen base and two runs scored in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Tyler Fitzgerald stole second, and that gave Chapman enough time to dart home for the Giants' third run. Chapman has done it all over his last 15 games, batting .327 (18-for-55) with four home runs, three steals, 12 RBI and 14 runs scored in that span. Coming into 2024, he had stolen a total of 11 bases in his career, but he's already up to eight this season while adding 12 homers, 42 RBI, 58 runs scored and a .244/.328/.422 slash line through 87 games. • Trea Turner plates lone run in loss to Braves
Trea Turner went 1-for-4 and drove in the Phillies’ lone run in Saturday night’s loss to the Braves.

Advice: Turner got the Phillies on the board with a run-scoring single off of Spencer Schwellenbach in the third inning that plated Johan Rojas. That would be all of the offense that they could muster in the contest. The 31-year-old shortstop has been terrific when he has been on the field this season, hitting .340/.383/.505 with seven homers, 23 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 50 games. • Freddy Peralta lasts four innings in no-decision
Freddy Peralta lasted just four innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Saturday, surrendering three runs on four hits and three walks.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander punched out four batters on the night. He served up a two-run homer to Will Smith before he recorded an out in the ballgame then allowed a third run as Andy Pages bounced into a fielder’s choice in the opening inning. He settled in nicely afterwards, but still needed 104 pitches (64 strikes) to get through 12 outs. Peralta got a whopping 21 swings and misses on the night — 10 of those on his slider — while posting a CSW of 29 percent. He’ll look to finish the first half strong as he totes a 3.95 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a 124/36 K/BB ratio (98 innings) into Friday’s showdown against the Nationals. Rotoworld Today, 7:15 pm
    • Nimmo has three-hit game in win against Pirates
Brandon Nimmo went 3-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base against the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Nimmo’s stolen base was his eighth of the year. He was 0-for-10 with two walks in his last three games. Nimmo is hitting .249 with an .810 OPS and 52 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:17 pm

    • Scott picks up 13th save, lowers ERA to 1.42
Tanner Scott threw a scoreless inning to get a save Saturday against the White Sox.

Advice: Scott had his good control Saturday — something that isn’t always there even with his gaudy numbers — and threw 10-of-14 pitches for strikes while picking up a punchout. It’s the 13th save of the season; a more impressive number when you consider Miami has won only 31 games. Scott is very likely going to be playing for a new team by the end of July. The question is whether it’ll be in a fantasy-relevant situation. Rotoworld Today, 3:52 pm

    • Jose Altuve out Saturday with left hand contusion
Jose Altuve (hand) is absent from the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Twins.

Advice: The positive news here for fantasy managers is that X-rays came back negative after Altuve was hit by a pitch on the left hand during Friday’s game against the Twins. The 34-year-old veteran second baseman is day-to-day for now and will get some extra time off this weekend to rest and recover. It sounds like there’s a possibility he’ll return for Sunday’s series finale at Target Field. Rotoworld Today, 8:41 am

    • Sitting down Saturday
Altuve (hand) isn't in the Astros' lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Altuve was diagnosed with a left hand contusion after getting hit by a pitch during Friday's contest. He'll get a day off Saturday in order to heal while Mauricio Dubon starts at second base and bats seventh. Rotowire.com Today, 8:37 am

    • Another big performance
Pena went 3-for-5 with three RBI and three runs scored Friday against the Twins.

Advice: Pena delivered a pair of RBI singles and a sacrifice fly to account for his production. That continued a strong run, as across his last 15 games Pena has maintained a .298 batting average with two homers, 14 RBI and 11 runs scored. His .118 across 86 games exactly matches his mark from 2023, though he's on pace to easily set new career highs in RBI and stolen bases while also hitting .285. Rotowire.com Today, 7:36 am
