    • Gallen’s start moved up to face Dodgers
      The Diamondbacks are moving up Zac Gallen’s next start to Thursday against the Dodgers.

      Advice: The Arizona Diamondbacks want to get Gallen pitching on every fifth day until the All-Star break, which means he will now face the Dodgers instead of the Padres on Friday as was originally planned. Instead, Slade Cecconi will be moved back to take that start. It’s obviously not great news for fantasy leagues, but the Dodgers have some injuries in their lineup, and Gallen is talented enough that you’re probably starting him regardless of opponent.     • Struggles in defeat
      Allen (8-4) took the loss Sunday against the Royals, allowing three earned runs on six hits and zero walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out three.

      Advice: Allen never found his footing, surrendering runs in the first two frames before exiting in the fifth inning. This comes off the back of a brutal outing during which he allowed three home runs and was pulled after just three innings. The 25-year-old has been an adequate source of wins thanks to the Cleveland offense, but he sports an ugly 5.75 ERA, a 1.54 WHIP and a 67:31 K:BB across 83 innings this season.     • Allen gives up three runs in loss to Royals Sunday
      Logan Allen allowed three runs in 4 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Royals on Sunday.

      Advice: Allen gave up six hits, walked none and struck out three. His ERA was 5.83 at the end of May before winning two of his first three starts in June, but now his last two starts have his ERA back up to 5.75 on the year. Allen has won eight games for the Guardians, but you have to wonder how much longer he’s going to last in this rotation. The 27-year-old left-hander is set to face the Giants at home next weekend.

    • Picks up 16th save
      Jansen earned the save Sunday against San Diego, striking out one batter during a perfect ninth inning.

      Advice: Jansen was lights-out, and he has now converted on 12 straight save chances. It was his seventh straight appearance without allowing a run. He's been fantastic as of late, with a 0.70 ERA over his last 12 appearances. The 36-year-old has converted 16 of 17 save chances this season and will carry a 2.22 ERA and 1.02 WHIP into July.       Kenley Jansen notched his 16th save with a scoreless ninth Sunday against the Padres.

      Advice: Making his first appearance in six days, Jansen turned in his seventh straight scoreless appearance. His last nine outings have resulted in seven saves and two wins. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:38 pm

      Bibee (7-2) picked up the win Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits over six innings in a 7-2 victory over the Royals. He struck out three without walking a batter.

      Advice: The right-hander looked shaky early, serving up solo shots to Vinnie Pasquantino in the first inning and Michael Massey in the second, but Bibee didn't let a runner even get to second base after that. He's reeled off three straight wins, all quality starts, and he'll take a 3.47 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 109:22 K:BB through 93.1 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Giants.     • Triumphant in return
      Gallen (6-4) allowed a hit and a walk while striking out seven over six shutout innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Saturday.

      Advice: Gallen returned from a hamstring injury that cost him nearly a month and took full advantage of a soft matchup. This was the fourth time this season he's gone six innings in a start without allowing a run. He's also posted five quality starts in his last six outings, with the lone exception being the May 30 start that ended with the aforementioned hamstring injury before he could record an out. The right-hander is now at a 2.83 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 67:16 K:BB through 63.2 innings over 12 starts. Gallen threw 77 pitches (50 strikes) Saturday, so he should be good for a full workload his next time out, which is tentatively projected for a road outing at San Diego.     • Strikes out eight in win
      Bassitt (7-6) earned the win over the Yankees on Saturday, allowing one unearned run on six hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over six innings.

      Advice: Bassitt fired five scoreless innings before Anthony Volpe reached on an error in the sixth and came around to score on a single by Aaron Judge. Bassitt has now logged three consecutive quality starts and has not allowed more than three earned runs in an outing since April 26. The 35-year-old has lowered his ERA over two full runs since the conclusion of April and now owns a 3.24 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 91:37 K:BB over 97.1 innings this season.       Tanner Bibee allowed two runs in six innings and got the win in the Guardians’ 7-2 victory over the Royals on Saturday.

      Advice: Bibee gave up four hits, walked none and struck out three. The win was his seventh of the season and third in a row. It wasn’t a big strikeout game for Bibee, just another solid outing. He has a 3.47 ERA and 3.29 xFIP on the year. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Giants at home next week.
