    • Picks up 16th save
Jansen earned the save Sunday against San Diego, striking out one batter during a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Jansen was lights-out, and he has now converted on 12 straight save chances. It was his seventh straight appearance without allowing a run. He's been fantastic as of late, with a 0.70 ERA over his last 12 appearances. The 36-year-old has converted 16 of 17 save chances this season and will carry a 2.22 ERA and 1.02 WHIP into July. • Kenley Jansen picks up 16th save
Kenley Jansen notched his 16th save with a scoreless ninth Sunday against the Padres.

Advice: Making his first appearance in six days, Jansen turned in his seventh straight scoreless appearance. His last nine outings have resulted in seven saves and two wins. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:38 pm

    • Bags 13th save
Phillips earned the save in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the White Sox, pitching a perfect inning with one strikeout.

Advice: Phillips entered the ninth with a one-run lead and promptly retired the side on 14 pitches, including 10 strikes. The 29-year-old right-hander has been steady in June so far, pitching to a 3.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 8:2 K:BB over nine innings with five saves. Phillips has converted 14 consecutive save chances, with his last blown save coming against Seattle on Sept. 16, 2023. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:02 pm

    • Deployed in eighth inning
Phillips earned a hold against the White Sox on Monday, allowing one hit in a scoreless inning of work.

Advice: It was somewhat surprising to see Phillips -- who is the Dodgers' primary closer -- used in the eighth frame, but there was plenty of sense behind the move given that the White Sox were bringing up the heart of their order. Phillips got through the inning unscathed despite allowing a one-out double to Luis Robert, and Alex Vesia earned his fourth save with a clean frame in the ninth. Phillips' usage Monday suggests that manager Dave Roberts isn't opposed to using him before the ninth inning in the highest-leverage situations, but the right-hander should still receive the vast majority of save chances for Los Angeles. He's been one of the most reliable closers in baseball this year with a perfect 12-for-12 mark in save opportunities along with a 1.66 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:50 pm

    • Secures third win
Jansen (3-1) allowed a hit in a scoreless inning Monday. He struck out one and earned a win over Toronto.

Advice: Jansen worked a quick ninth inning, needing only 10 pitches to keep the game tied 6-6. Boston won the game in the bottom of the frame and gave him his second win of the month. Jansen is 2-0 with eight saves and a 0.77 ERA over his last 11 appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:02 pm

    • Holds on for 22nd save
Finnegan picked up the save Sunday against Colorado, allowing two hits with two strikeouts across a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: After blowing the save Saturday night on a pitch clock violation with the bases loaded -- the first time that's happened since MLB introduced the pitch clock -- Finnegan was able to convert for his 22nd save of the campaign Sunday. However, he flirted with danger as Ryan McMahon and Brendan Rodgers hit back-to-back singles to start the final half-inning. Finnegan kept the game-tying run at second and retired three straight to close out the contest. The 32-year-old trails only Ryan Helsley and Emmanuel Clase for the most saves in baseball. • Picks up save Sunday
Jansen allowed a hit in a scoreless inning to earn a save over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Jansen worked around a two-out single to finish off the 7-4 game. It was about as efficient of an outing as it gets, as he threw 11 of his 12 pitches for strikes. He's now converted 15 of his 16 save chances this season, including 11 straight. Jansen has produced a 2.29 ERA since his last blown save April 16, lowering his season mark to 2.39. • Kyle Finnegan escapes with 22nd save
Kyle Finnegan recorded his 22nd save in a 2-1 win over the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: It was not without drama, which is par for the course with Finnegan’s saves. He allowed back-to-back singles to start the inning, but then got Nolan Jones to strike out, Hunter Goodman to fly out, and caught Michael Toglia looking to end the game. Finnegan has a 2.23 ERA on the season but could lose a significant amount of fantasy value if he gets traded at the deadline. Depending on where he ends up, he could find himself in a late-inning set-up role. Rotoworld Jun 23, 4:57 pm

    • Kenley Jansen earns second save in two days
Kenley Jansen earned his second save in two days with a scoreless ninth Sunday against the Reds.

Advice: It’s Jansen’s 15th save of the year and No. 435 in his career. Jansen and Chris Martin both pitched for the second straight day today, so unless the Red Sox are willing to go to one of them three days in a row, Justin Slaten might get the ninth in a save situation Monday.
