    • Day off Saturday
Langeliers is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Twins.

Advice: Langeliers will get a breather after he went 4-for-13 with a grand slam and five RBI while starting the last three contests. Kyle McCann will take over behind the plate and bat eighth against Minnesota. Rotowire.com 39 minutes ago

    • Belts grand slam Friday
Langeliers went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in an extra-inning loss to the Twins on Friday.

Advice: Langeliers got the Athletics' night started on the right foot with his 408-foot shot to left center in the first inning that cleared the bases and established an early 4-0 lead. The backstop's big homer was his first since May 30, and it marked his fourth time hitting safely in the last five games. Langeliers pushed his OPS back up to .708 as well, but he's still carrying a paltry .204 average and .263 on-base percentage. Rotowire.com 41 minutes ago

    • Retakes leadoff spot
Pham went 1-for-4 Friday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Pham returned from a short stint on the injured list and immediately regained his status as the White Sox's leadoff hitter. He's delivered effective all-around production since joining the club in late April, tallying three homers and three steals while hitting .279 across 146 plate appearances. • Turns in quality start
Stone allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Royals on Friday.

Advice: Stone's three-start winning streak was snapped, but he picked up his first quality start over three outings in June. The right-hander has been steady this year -- this was just the fourth time in 13 starts he's given up three runs. He's now at a 3.01 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 56:23 K:BB over 74.2 innings. Stone is projected to make his next start at Colorado. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:44 pm

    • Tallies homer and steal
Pederson went 2-for-4 with a homer, a steal, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Pederson collected his fourth steal, marking the most he's had in a season since 2017 (his career-high is six, set in 2016). The veteran lefty bat flashed his power too, tattooing a 425-foot solo homer off Michael Soroka in the seventh for the Diamondbacks' final run of the evening. The 32-year-old Pederson has found new life in Arizona, slashing .291/.387/.521 over 197 plate appearances with nine homers, 24 runs scored and 30 RBI this season. • Gavin Stone surrenders three over seven vs. KC
Gavin Stone didn’t factor into the decision Saturday against the Royals after allowing three runs over seven innings with three strikeouts.

Advice: Stone allowed four hits and walked two while throwing 61-of-94 pitches in the strike zone. The 25-year-old allowed all three runs on a long roundtripper by Salvador Perez. Minus that gaffe, it was another solid start for Stone against a pretty tough Kansas City lineup. He’s currently scheduled to face the Rockies on Thursday in Colorado. • Joc Pederson homers again in rout of White Sox
Joc Pederson went 2-for-4 with a homer, stolen base, two RBI and two runs scored in a 7-1 blowout win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Pederson’s homer is the ninth of the year, and the steal is the fourth for the 32-year-old in 2024. The veteran outfielder also drove in a run on a fielder’s choice. Pederson has been excellent as of late, and he’s now homered in back-to-back games. If the Diamondbacks fall out of this, he’s a strong candidate to be dealt before the deadline. • Shea Langeliers belts first career grand slam
Shea Langeliers belted the first grand slam of his big-league career on Friday night, unfortunately it came in a losing effort against the Twins.

Advice: The 26-year-old backstop got the Athletics’ offense started with a bang on Friday night, tagging Simeon Woods Richardson for a 408-foot (102.8 mph EV) four-run blast on the first pitch that he saw in the first inning. That would be hit only hit on the night, finishing the evening 1-for-5. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:44 pm

    • Notches save Friday
Iglesias recorded one out to earn a save over the Rays on Friday.

Advice: Iglesias came into the game with two runners on base and two outs. He quickly finished the 7-3 win with just three pitches. He's now converted 10 straight saves and is 18 for 20 in save chances this season. Iglesias is sporting a 2.10 ERA with a 17:5 K:BB. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:11 pm
