    • Swipes two bags Monday
Harris went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases in Monday's win over the Marlins.

Advice: It's the third multi-hit performance in the last four games for Harris, but his first multi-steal effort of the season. Through his first 93 plate appearances, the 23-year-old center fielder is slashing .307/.344/.466 with three homers, four stolen bases, 10 RBI and 14 runs. Rotowire.com Today, 9:02 am
    • Swats solo shot Monday
Alonso went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Giants.

Advice: Alonso accounted for the Mets' first run with a fifth-inning solo blast to left field. The long ball snapped a seven-game homerless drought for the slugger, and he had gone just 4-for-26 with one RBI during that stretch. Alonso still leads the team -- and is tied for third in the majors -- with seven homers on the campaign, though he's knocked in just 12 runs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:38 pm
    • Collects three hits
Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: Cruz hit eighth in the order for the third straight game against a right-handed pitcher as the Pirates seek to get him on track at the plate. He showed some reasons for optimism with his three-hit performance, highlighted by a two-RBI single in the sixth inning that gave the team some insurance runs. Most importantly, Cruz struck out only once after punching out multiple times in seven of his previous 10 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:07 pm

    • Pete Alonso hits seventh homer against Giants
Pete Alonso went 2-for-4 and homered against the Giants on Monday.

Advice: Unfortunately, Alonso couldn’t come through again in the ninth, when the Mets scored once off Camilo Doval but still fell three runs short. Alonso is tied for third in the majors with seven homers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:16 pm
    • Oneil Cruz knocks in two in win against Brewers
Oneil Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Monday’s 4-2 win against the Brewers.

Advice: Cruz had his first game without a strikeout since April 9 and made sure to capitalize with his second three-hit game of the season. The 25-year-old shortstop hasn’t put together a great start to the season but it was encouraging to see him get back on track. His two RBI came in the sixth inning when he hit a blooper into shallow left field off Hoby Milner that scored Connor Joe and Jack Suwinski to extends the Bucs’ lead. • Throws bullpen session
Garrett (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Sunday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Garrett is ramping back up again after he was briefly shut down following his second rehab appearance with Triple-A Jacksonville on April 12 due to a bout with dead arm. The left-hander was placed on the 15-day injured list prior to Opening Day with a left shoulder impingement, but he looks to have moved past that injury and will simply need to build up his pitch count before he's deemed ready to make his 2024 debut for the Marlins. He'll likely need to complete at least one more minor-league rehab start prior to being activated from the IL, though it's unclear when he'll be ready to resume game action. • Gleyber Torres goes 0-for-3 in loss to A’s
Gleyber Torres went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts against the A’s in Monday’s loss.

Advice: His lone ball in play was a popup. Torres is batting .193 and is without a homer in 23 games this season. However, his exit velocity numbers aren’t too bad, and while he is striking out more than usual, his contact numbers are slightly better than his career norms. It still seems likely that he’ll get things turned around. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:49 pm
    • Remains hot during doubleheader
Rodriguez went a combined 4-for-9 with an RBI single over the two games of Sunday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

Advice: Although there were no extra-base hits involved, Rodriguez continued to be an on-base machine Sunday, one day after rapping out four singles and recording two steals in a shutout victory over Colorado. The talented outfielder has now hit safely in six straight games and has five consecutive multi-hit efforts, raising his average 90 points to .276 in the process. Rodriguez has definitely had some luck shine on him during that stretch, however, as he sports an astronomical .650 BABIP after coming into the sample with a .289 figure dating back to the beginning of the season. • Flawless in save chance
Yates secured a save in Sunday's 6-4 win over Atlanta, striking out one while allowing no baserunners in 1.1 scoreless innings.

Advice: Yates entered in the eighth with Atlanta threatening with two men on and two outs and struck out Orlando Arcia to get out of the jam. The 37-year-old returned for the ninth and retired the side in order to lock down the save. Yates seems to have a firm grip on the closer role for now after picking up three saves and a win over the last week. He's yet to allow a run and has posted a 0.40 WHIP and 11:2 K:BB in 10 innings this year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:19 am
