    • Ranger Suárez allows just one run against Orioles
      Ranger Suárez scattered six hits across 6 2/3 innings in a no-decision on Friday against the Orioles. He struck out six, walked two, and allowed one earned run.

      Advice: Relative to the rest of his season, this was a difficult start for Suárez and he still allowed just one run against one of the best offenses in baseball. He kept the ball down, mixed all five of his pitches, and hit his spots when he needed to. Especially tough on lefties, he made Gunnar Henderson look as frustrated as he’s been all season with two nasty punch outs. Suárez’s Cy Young campaign will march on next week against the Padres.       Rockies activated OF Nolan Jones from the 10-day injured list.

      Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old has been sidelined since April 29 due to back and knee issues, but is finally ready to return to the Rockies’ lineup. Prior to landing on the injured list, he was hitting a paltry .170/.243/.277 with one homer, seven RBI and a pair of stolen bases through his first 26 ballgames.       Jones (knee) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Friday.

      Advice: Jones landed on the injured list April 30 due to back stiffness. His initial rehab assignment was halted May 21 due to right knee soreness stemming from a slide, but he was able to resume activities June 3. Across his 12 rehab games with Triple-A Albuquerque, Jones went 9-for-42 with six runs, one home run and six RBI. He is starting in left field and batting fifth in Friday's game against the Pirates.       Langford went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two stolen bases in Thursday's win over the Dodgers.

      Advice: Langford drove in two of the Rangers' three runs on the night with RBI singles in the first and third innings while also swiping two bags. It marked the outfielder's third game this month with two RBI and his first multi-steal effort of the campaign. The rookie outfielder’s pair of hits and RBI improve his slash to .238/.300/.317 with 19 runs driven in.       Advice: Lowe began the game on the bench with lefty Justin Steele on the mound but entered as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning. He made an immediate impact with an RBI single and also tallied his first stolen base of the season.       Jarren Duran went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, a run scored and two RBI against the Phillies on Thursday.

      Advice: Duran’s two-run double in the second inning made it 4-0 Red Sox. He scored on Tyler O’Neill’s three-run home run in the fourth inning that gave Boston an 8-3 lead. Duran is hitting .272 with 30 RBI with the Red Sox this year. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:25 pm
