The outfielder has enjoyed a strong June, going 25-for-78 (.321) with five homers, 13 RBI and three steals over 21 contests this month.       Advice: After slugging a homer in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Cardinals, Kelenic collected three more hits in the second game. His base hit in the eighth inning drove in the only run of the game for Atlanta. The 24-year-old outfielder has performed well since taking over the leadoff spot. He hadn't allowed a run over his last two starts, and he's walked multiple batters just twice in his last seven outings.       Jarred Kelenic went 3-for-5 with a homer, three RBI and a steal in the Braves’ 6-2 victory over the Cardinals in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.

      Reynaldo López defeated the Cardinals by allowing two runs in five innings in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.

      Advice: López certainly wasn’t at his sharpest today, but the Cardinals came away with just one run each time they loaded the bases against him. The Braves had bullpen help ready to go the latter time, when Brendon Donovan was up with two outs in the fifth.       Daulton Varsho (back) was held out of the Blue Jays’ starting lineup once again for Wednesday’s battle against the Red Sox.

      Advice: It’s the fourth straight game that the 27-year-old slugger has missed due to the lingering back issue.
