    • Mark Canha out Tuesday due to illness
Mark Canha is absent from Tuesday’s lineup due to illness.

Advice: Canha is apparently under the weather and will sit out Tuesday’s showdown against the Guardians. It’ll be Riley Greene taking over in left field and Ryan Vilade drawing a start in right field for his season debut. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago

    • Grayson Rodriguez unlikely to require rehab start
Grayson Rodriguez (shoulder) continued playing catch on Tuesday.

Advice: Rodriguez expressed optimism to reporters that he could return to Baltimore’s starting rotation following a minimum stay on the 15-day injured list due to right shoulder inflammation. It certainly doesn’t sound like there are any long-term concerns with the 24-year-old burgeoning ace. He should be able to jump right back into the Orioles’ stacked rotation mix by mid-May without a minor league rehab assignment. Rotoworld 53 minutes ago

    • Battling illness
Canha is out of the lineup Tuesday against Cleveland with an upper respiratory illness, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Advice: Canha will get the day off to rest and recover from the illness, leaving DH work to Jake Rogers while Carson Kelly fills in behind the plate. Canha trails only Riley Greene for the team lead in homers with five. Rotowire.com Today, 1:20 pm

    • Could return once eligible
Rodriguez (shoulder) "feels much better" and hopes to be reinstated once he becomes eligible May 15, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reported Tuesday.

Advice: Rodriguez has battled inflammation in his shoulder throughout May. However, per Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com, his move to the 15-day IL was to prevent the issue from growing into anything larger, and he could return to the O's without a rehab start. Rodriguez has a 4-1 record with a 3.71 ERA through six starts and would likely replace Cole Irvin in the rotation once available. Rotowire.com Today, 1:07 pm

    • Taking seat Tuesday
Realmuto is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Blue Jays.

Advice: It's a rare day off for Realmuto, who has reached base eight times over the last three games. Garrett Stubbs will get a start behind the plate for the Phillies. Rotowire.com Today, 12:07 pm
    • Taking seat Tuesday
Nevin is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Nevin started the previous 14 games and posted an .858 OPS during that stretch, though he's now in the midst of an 0-for-14 slump. Brett Harris is starting at third base Tuesday for the fifth straight game, which has resulted in Nevin seeing more action in right field. Rotowire.com Today, 10:29 am

    • Robert Suarez notches five-out save against Cubs
Robert Suarez recorded a five-out save on Monday against the Cubs.

Advice: Suarez was tasked with protecting a three-run lead upon entering the eighth inning of Monday’s series opener at Wrigley Field for his first appearance since last Wednesday. The hard-throwing 33-year-old righty struck out Yan Gomes and retired Nico Hoerner to extinguish a bases-loaded threat in the eighth before coming back out to toss a perfect final frame. He’s converted all 11 of his save opportunities this season to go along with a microscopic 0.59 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 14/4 K/BB ratio across 15 1/3 innings (14 appearances). Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:43 pm
    • Converts five-out save
Suarez struck out three batters over 1.2 perfect frames and earned a save over the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Suarez was called into a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the eighth inning and quickly steamrolled the Cubs in order to finish off the game. He matched his longest outing of the year while firing 14 of 20 pitches for strikes. Suarez has been nearly perfect this season; he's 1-0 with a 0.59 ERA while converting each of his 11 save chances. The 33-year-old is currently riding a 13-inning scoreless streak. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:27 pm
    • Matt Chapman goes 0-for-4, fans three times
Matt Chapman finished 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Monday against the Phillies.

Advice: Chapman is down to .209/.257/.345 on the season. His exit velocity numbers aren’t as good as usual, and he’s hitting more groundballs than he typically does. He’s also walking at half of his usual rate, though that doesn’t much matter for fantasy purposes. He’ll most likely bounce back some, but there’s little reason to think he’ll start being very useful in mixed leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:06 pm
