    • Struggling of late
McMahon went 0-for-3 with an RBI on Monday against the Padres.

Advice: McMahon recorded four hits April 12, but he has only five hits across 38 plate appearances since. He's also struck out at 39.5 percent clip in that span while tallying two RBI and two runs scored. Even with that stretch, McMahon has a .314 average across 100 plate appearances. • Move to bullpen coming soon
Phillies manager Rob Thomson implied Friday that Turnbull will likely move to the bullpen after he starts Wednesday's game in Cincinnati, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Taijuan Walker (shoulder) tossed 6.1 innings and 102 pitches in his latest rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Lehigh Valley, setting him up to return from the 15-day injured list and take back a spot in the rotation next weekend in San Diego. Rather than making room for both Walker and Turnbull and expanding the rotation to six men, the latter is poised to head to the bullpen as the Phillies look to manage his innings. Even with Turnbull's upcoming move to relief, Thomson is optimistic that the right-hander can get enough work to stay stretched out in the event a spot in the rotation opens up again. Turnbull has been tremendous thus far for any managers in deeper mixed leagues or NL-only leagues that scooped him up in the later rounds of drafts, as he's gone 2-0 with a 1.23 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 22:7 K:BB across 22 innings. • Bounces back with strong outing
Glasnow (4-1) earned the win over the Mets on Sunday, scattering seven hits across eight scoreless innings while striking out 10.

Advice: Glasnow rebounded from his worst outing of the year with a dominant performance against the Mets. All seven hits he gave up were singles, and he was able to last eight innings for just the third time in his career. He became the first pitcher this season to toss eight scoreless frames while racking up double-digit strikeouts and ended his day in style by punching out Tyrone Taylor with the bases loaded. Glasnow owns a 2.92 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 44:9 K:BB in 37 innings and projects for his next turn to be on the road against Toronto. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:45 am
    • Homers again Sunday
Westburg went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a triple, a walk and two total RBI in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Royals.

Advice: Westburg is up to a nine-game hitting streak, going 16-for-35 (.457) with three homers and 10 RBI in that span. The 25-year-old is thriving in a near-everyday role, often playing at third base versus right-handed pitchers and at second base against southpaws. He's up to five homers, 18 RBI, 14 runs scored and three stolen bases while slashing .333/.392/.639 through 80 plate appearances. Westburg launched just three homers in 68 major-league games a year ago. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:07 pm

    • Tyler Glasnow fans 10 in eight shutout innings
Tyler Glasnow fanned 10 over eight innings in the Dodgers’ 10-0 shutout of the Mets on Sunday.

Advice: Glasnow allowed seven hits, but they were all singles, and he got a couple of assists with the Mets going 0-for-2 stealing bases. It’s the third time in his career that he’s completed eight innings. He’s still never gotten a chance to take a start into the ninth, not that anyone is really expecting those kinds of outings from him. He’s 4-1 with a 2.92 ERA and a 44/9 K/BB ratio in 37 innings. • Sean Murphy (oblique) has increased throwing
Sean Murphy (oblique) has increased his throwing intensity as he continues to make his way back from a Grade 1 oblique strain.

Advice: While he’s making progress, it’s of the slow and methodical variety. The 29-year-old backstop still has yet to be cleared to begin swinging a bat. The longer that he’s away from doing so, the more at-bats that he’s going to ultimately require before he’s able to rejoin the Braves. Expect Travis d’Arnaud to continue holding down the fort and socking dingers in Murphy’s absence. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:01 pm

    • Joel Payamps perfect in ninth against Cards
Joel Payamps worked a perfect ninth Sunday against the Cardinals for his third save.

Advice: Payamps took a blown save on Friday, but he got the win then anyway. The appearance today was his fourth in six days, so he might be down Monday. If so, Abner Uribe would likely be the favorite to close over Trevor Megill. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:44 pm

    • Cruises to third win
Nola (3-1) allowed two runs on four hits and one walk over eight innings to pick up the win Sunday against the White Sox. He struck out seven.

Advice: Nola allowed a first-inning two-run homer to Eloy Jimenez but settled in thereafter, allowing just three more baserunners over the next seven innings. This season has been a steady climb for Nola, who struggled in his first start but has worked progressively deeper into each start, culminating with his eight-inning effort Sunday. One concern for Nola moving forward is that he's already allowed six home runs this year after allowing a career-high 32 last season. The veteran righty will take a 3.16 ERA and 1.09 WHIP into his next start, tentatively scheduled to take place during a weekend set in San Diego against the Padres. • Ryan McMahon delivers walk-off winner for Rockies
Ryan McMahon delivered a walk-off RBI single in the 10th inning on Sunday, propelling the Rockies to a 2-1 victory over the Mariners in the first game of their doubleheader.

Advice: The Rockies entered the 10th inning trailing 1-0, but three straight singles by Charlie Blackmon, Ezequiel Tovar and McMahon off of Mariners’ closer Andres Muñoz were enough to swing the tide in their direction and send the Rockies’ home faithful into a frenzy. McMahon finished the day 1-for-5 and is now hitting .333/.402/.469 with two homers and 12 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:18 pm
