    • Productive weekend series
Diaz went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI on Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Diaz had a strong weekend series thanks to some timely hits. Across the three games, he went just 3-for-11 but drove in four runs and also worked two free passes. Diaz has gone just 7-for-44 across his last 13 starts, though he's striking out at only a 10.6 percent clip in that span, meaning his numbers should start to tick back up. Rotowire.com Today, 9:27 pm

    • Knocks sixth homer
Chourio went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Chourio belted a three-run shot during Milwaukee's four-run second inning. It was his first long ball since May 15, snapping a 12-game drought. During that stretch, he was 6-for-36 (.167) with just two extra-base hits. The highly-touted prospect is still trying to find his footing at the MLB level; he's slashing .214/.257/.345 with 10 extra-base hits and a 10:49 BB:K through 52 games. • Griffin Canning pitches well in loss to Mariners
Griffin Canning was terrific in a losing effort against the Mariners on Sunday afternoon, allowing just one run on four hits over 6 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander struck out four batters on the day and issued just one walk — to the final batter that he faced. The lone tally against him came on a 354-foot solo shot off the bat of Luke Raley in the fourth inning. Unfortunately, that was enough to hand him the loss as the Angels couldn’t scratch out a single run of support for him. It’s the first time all season that Canning has recorded an out in the seventh inning. He got 11 whiffs on 93 pitches on the day — seven on his changeup — while posting a CSW of 29 percent. He’ll attempt to further improve upon his 4.69 ERA and 1.37 WHIP when he takes on the Astros at home on Saturday. Rotoworld Today, 4:40 pm
    • Pitches well in loss
Canning (2-5) allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out four over 6.2 innings to take the loss versus the Mariners on Sunday.

Advice: Canning was not the problem for the Angels on Sunday -- their offense couldn't figure out Luis Castillo. This was Canning's longest outing of the season and his third quality start in 12 appearances. He shaved down his ERA to 4.69 with a 1.37 WHIP and 45:24 K:BB over 63.1 innings. Canning is projected to make his next start at home versus the Astros. Rotowire.com Today, 4:34 pm
    • Jackson Chourio has HR, three RBI in win
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with a home run on three RBI in a 6-3 win over the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Chourio got the Brewers on the board in the second inning by socking a three-run home run 385 feet at 102.5 mph off the bat. It was his sixth home run of the season, and he now has 19 RBI on the year. Chourio has an elevated strikeout rate which has helped keep his batting average down, but he has shown a fantasy-friendly profile with the six home runs and seven steals. It may not fully click this year for the 20-year-old, but the future is certainly bright. Rotoworld Today, 2:05 pm

    • Logan Webb strikes out six in loss to Yankees
Logan Webb gave up four runs over seven innings on Saturday in a loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Webb fell behind right away in this one when he served up a colossal two-run homer to Aaron Judge in the opening frame. He was tagged for a pair of additional runs in the third inning, but managed to escape further damage, and wound up still completing seven frames to spare San Francisco’s bullpen. He struck out six and only handed out one free pass. The 27-year-old workhorse will carry a strong 2.95 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 67/20 K/BB ratio across 79 1/3 innings (13 starts) into a challenging road matchup on Friday against the Rangers. • Grinds out seven innings
Webb (4-5) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six over seven innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Yankees.

Advice: Webb gave up a pair of runs in the first and third innings, but he was able to eat innings despite the loss. He threw 74 of 108 pitches for strikes, though this ended his run of four straight quality starts. Webb is at a 2.95 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 67:20 K:BB over 79.1 innings across 13 starts this season. After posting a 1.3 BB/9 last year, his walk rate has risen to 2.3 this year, which is in line with previous seasons. Webb is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Rangers. • Hits first homer of season
Abreu went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-2 win against the Twins.

Advice: Abreu took Minnesota starter Joe Ryan deep in the second inning for his first long ball of the campaign. It's been a rough season for the veteran first baseman, as he's slashing a meager .119/.167/.167 through 90 plate appearances. Abreu has been a bit better since returning to the big club May 27 following a demotion to the minors, going 3-for-13 (albeit with six strikeouts) over five games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:13 pm

    • Bohm drives in two against Cardinals Saturday
Alec Bohm went 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and two RBI against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Bohm started the scoring with a two-run double off Sonny Gray in the first inning. He only has five home runs on the season, but he’s hitting .311 with 49 RBI in 58 games. Bohm is a mainstay in the middle of the order for the Phillies now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:14 pm
