      Advice: Bichette’s numbers continue to improve after a cold start. He added two hits on Wednesday, including a two-run homer off Nick Nastrini in the second inning. He added another run for the Blue Jays in the fourth with a base hit to score Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The 26-year-old shortstop is now hitting .233/.289/.349 with three homers, 19 RBI, and four steals across 187 plate appearances.       Alex Bregman went 0-for-4 as the Astros cleanup hitter Wednesday to finish hitless in the series against the Angels.

      Advice: Bregman had three homers in two games against the A’s early last week, prompting the Astros to return him to the cleanup spot, but since then, he’s 4-for-31 with one RBI in eight games. It’s hard to imagine Bregman remaining this bad, but he’s long posted subpar BABIPs and his typically averagish exit velocity numbers are worse than usual right now.       Gimenez went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Mets.

      Advice: Gimenez provided a key blast in Cleveland's comeback victory, ripping a three-run homer off Jose Quintana with two outs in the sixth inning to tie the game 3-3. While the long ball was Gimenez's lone hit in the three-game series, he's gone 14-for-39 (.359) with three homers in his last 10 contests.       Andrés Giménez hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth Wednesday in the Guardians’ 6-3 defeat of the Mets.

      Advice: The Mets took a 3-0 lead in the fourth today, but the Guardians did all of the scoring after that. The homer off Jose Quintana was Giménez’s fourth of the year. He’s still not hitting the ball like he did two years ago, but that his strikeout rate is down to 14% has helped him bat .266 and hitting second for the Guardians has given him a nice boost in runs scored (28) and RBI (30).
