    • Perez has two-hit game in win Thursday
Salvador Perez went 2-for-3 against the Guardians on Thursday.

Advice: Perez has hit safely in four consecutive games. He’s seen his average drop from .321 at the end of May to .283. The Royals lineup desperately needs his bat to wake up again. This was only his third multi-hit game in June, but maybe it’s the start of a hot streak. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:44 pm

    • Dealing with hamstring issue
Harper felt hamstring tightness while running to first base in the ninth inning of Thursday's game against the Marlins, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: Harper sustained the injury on a groundout to end the game. Manager Rob Thompson said no more details were known about the issue but that there would be more information Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:33 pm

    • Bryce Harper suffers left hamstring injury in loss
Bryce Harper suffered a left hamstring injury during Thursday’s loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Not good. Harper suffered the apparent injury during the ninth inning of Thursday’s loss while attempting to beat out an infield grounder on the final play of the contest. The 31-year-old slugger, who crushed an RBI double off the base of the center-field wall in the opening frame against Marlins southpaw Trevor Rogers for his 1,000th career hit, will undergo additional testing to determine the severity of the injury. There should be an update on his status prior to Friday’s showdown. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:30 pm

    • Lars Nootbaar starting rehab assignment on Friday
Lars Nootbaar (oblique) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Friday with Double-A Springfield.

Advice: Nootbaar told reporters Thursday that he expects to play at least five or six rehab contests before returning to the majors. The 26-year-old corner outfielder has been on the shelf since late May recovering from a moderate oblique strain. He’s been snake-bitten by injuries this season, but remains an impactful fantasy contributor, when healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:01 pm

    • Beginning assignment Friday
Nootbaar (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Springfield on Friday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: Nootbaar said he expects his rehab assignment to last roughly six games, which would put him in line to return to the active roster July 5 for the beginning of St. Louis' series with the Nationals. The 26-year-old outfielder has spent nearly a month on the injured list after straining his left oblique during a game in late May. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:36 pm

    • Lone bright spot in loss
Judge went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run and a walk in a loss to the Mets on Wednesday.

Advice: Though the Yankees suffered through an ugly loss to their crosstown rival, Judge kept chugging along, smashing a 400-foot, two-run homer in the sixth inning for his team's only runs. The long ball was the slugger's 10th through 21 games in a monstrous June during which he's also produced 32 RBI. Judge is the league leader with 30 home runs on the campaign, and he's just the third player in MLB history to reach 30 homers before the All-Star break three times in his career, per Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. • Yields five runs in no-decision
Eovaldi didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against Milwaukee, allowing five runs on nine hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Eovaldi had a troublesome third inning, allowing Jackson Chourio to reach on a leadoff single before letting Christian Yelich and Willy Adames get on base with two outs, leading to a Jake Bauers grand slam. The other run charged to Eovaldi came in the fourth frame, when Derek Hill couldn't make a diving catch in center field, allowing Chourio to get all the way around the bases for an inside-the-park home run. Eovaldi's five runs allowed tied his season high, and he's allowed a home run in five consecutive starts. Overall, he owns a 3.45 ERA and 74 strikeouts across 73.0 innings. He's on track to face the Padres in Arlington early next week. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:07 pm

    • Belts another homer Wednesday
Henderson went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in a 4-2 win against Cleveland on Wednesday.

Advice: Henderson knocked in Baltimore's first two runs with a single in the second inning and a solo shot to center field in the fifth. The talented young shortstop has gone deep eight times over 24 games in June, including four times across his past six contests. Henderson ranks second in the majors with 26 homers through 79 games on the campaign and needs just two more long balls to match the 28 home runs he belted over 150 contests last year. • Notches save Wednesday
Kimbrel earned a save against the Guardians on Wednesday, walking one batter and striking out three in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Kimbrel issued a two-out walk but otherwise overpowered Cleveland with three punchouts. The veteran closer rebounded well after blowing a save against the Yankees during his previous trip to the mound. Kimbrel is 17-for-21 in save chances on the season and has registered an elite 13.3 K/9 while posting a 2.54 ERA and 0.99 WHIP across 28.1 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:56 pm
