    • Steals 34th bag in win
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: De La Cruz reached on a single in the fifth and proceeded to swipe his MLB-leading 34th bag. After going six straight games without a steal, he now has a swipe in back-to-back games as he continues his torrid pace on the basepaths. The 22-year-old leads MLB with 87 strikeouts but he continues to make up for it with great counting stats. Rotowire.com Today, 6:36 pm

    • Up to 11 saves
Doval earned the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over Texas, working around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Things got dicey for Doval in the ninth, as the Rangers got the tying runs into scoring position with two outs. However, the right-hander would coax a flyout off the bat of Leody Taveras to lock down his 11th save of the year and his second in as many days. The 26-year-old Doval lowered his ERA to 3.91 with a 1.58 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Today, 4:33 pm
    • Camilo Doval locks down 11th save vs. Rangers
Camilo Doval tossed a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save against the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Doval was summoned with a two-run lead to close out the game in the ninth. He walked the leadoff man and gave up a single to bring the go-ahead run to the plate with one out. He induced a groundout and a fly out to end the game and secure the win for the Giants, picking up his 11th save. Rotoworld Today, 3:49 pm
    • Battling illness
Moreno was scratched from Saturday's lineup due to illness but will be available off the bench, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Advice: Moreno and Ketel Marte (back) were both late scratches Saturday, but the pair will be available to enter off the bench. Tucker Barnhart will catch and bat ninth. The D-Backs will finish their series with the Padres on Sunday before a team off day Monday. Rotowire.com Today, 2:45 pm

    • Gabriel Moreno (illness) scratched from lineup
Gabriel Moreno was scratched from the Diamondbacks’ starting lineup on Saturday due to illness.

Advice: The 24-year-old backstop was feeling a bit under the weather, so manager Torey Lovullo opted to give him the night off. He is expected to be available off the bench and should return to the Diamondbacks’ starting lineup on Sunday. Rotoworld Today, 2:42 pm

    • Late scratch Saturday
Moreno was scratched from the Diamondbacks' lineup prior to Saturday's game against the Padres.

Advice: No word yet on why Moreno was taken out of the lineup, but the Diamondbacks will likely give an update on his status in the near future. In the meantime, Tucker Barnhart will catch for Ryne Nelson and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 1:30 pm

    • Orion Kerkering whiffs three in relief vs. Mets
Orion Kerkering struck out three over 1 1/3 innings on Saturday against the Mets.

Advice: Kerkering came on to strike out Francisco Lindor to end the sixth inning, stranding a pair of inherited runners in the process, before coming back out to work a flawless seventh inning as well. The 23-year-old righty opened the season on the injured list, but has been phenomenal since returning, posting a sublime 1.19 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 24/4 K/BB ratio across 22 2/3 innings (21 appearances). • Bell: CES (wrist) to resume swinging this month
Reds manager David Bell told reporters Saturday that Christian Encarnacion-Strand (wrist) is expected to start swinging a bat in a few weeks.

Advice: Bell added that Encarnacion-Strand will ramp-up his strength training next week and should be cleared to begin hitting again at some point in June. The 24-year-old slugger has been out since early May recovering from a right wrist fracture. It’s starting to look like he won’t return until sometime after next month’s All-Star break. • Swipes 33rd bag
De La Cruz went 0-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 3-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: The 22-year-old also struck out twice, and his 31.7 percent strikeout rate on the season has caught up with him -- De La Cruz is slashing .205/.286/.318 since the beginning of May with only three homers in 34 games. He continues to do damage when he is able to get on base, however, and De La Cruz's 33 steals on the season lead the league by a healthy margin, as the Brewers' Brice Turang sits in second place with 22.
