      Advice: Gilbert had posted back-to-back starts of eight shutout innings, so this was a small step back. It was an improvement on his previous start versus the Twins, in which he allowed a season-high eight runs over four innings in Minnesota on May 9. Since that start, Gilbert has completed at least six frames in each of his last nine outings, earning eight quality starts in that span. He's at a stellar 2.72 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 102:21 K:BB over 112.1 innings across 17 outings this season. Gilbert's lined up for a tough matchup versus the Orioles in his next projected start. He still shouldn’t be batting at the top of the Rockies order right now, but for as long it continues, he’ll be worth playing in mixed leagues, especially when the Rockies are at home.       Bailey Ober held the Mariners to one run with nine strikeouts in six innings in a no-decision.

      Advice: Ober wasn’t as good as he was in his complete game against Oakland, but it was another pretty strong outing. The right-hander’s only run allowed shouldn’t have happened, as Christian Vazquez couldn’t hold onto a ball that would have had Mitch Haniger out by about 15 feet if it doesn’t get by him.       Logan Gilbert gave up two runs in six innings while not factoring into the decision against the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: Gilbert struck out three while allowing just four hits and no walks. The right-hander saw his streak of 21 scoreless innings come to an end when Carlos Correa socked a two-run homer off the right-hander to give Minnesota a 2-1 lead. Outside of that, it was another outstanding effort for the right-hander, and concludes a June that likely will see him win AL Pitcher of the Month.       Doyle went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a steal in Friday's 5-3 loss to the White Sox.

      Advice: The 26-year-old gave Colorado a 2-1 lead in the sixth inning when a launched a 426-foot, two-run homer off Drew Thorpe. Doyle later bagged his team-leading 19th stolen base, marking his fifth straight success since last being caught June 5. The Rockies' leadoff hitter hopes this performance spurs a hot streak, as he entered hitting .235 (19-for-81) with just two extra-base hits -- one homer and one double -- across 22 games in June.
