    • Two RBI, two steals in win
Langford went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two stolen bases in Thursday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Langford drove in two of the Rangers' three runs on the night with RBI singles in the first and third innings while also swiping two bags. It marked the outfielder's third game this month with two RBI and his first multi-steal effort of the campaign. Langford has now hit safely in five of his last six games, going 7-for-22 (.318) over that stretch with four RBI, three stolen bases and two runs scored. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:23 am

    • Wyatt Langford drives in pair in win over Dodgers
Wyatt Langford drove in a pair of runs to help the Rangers to a 3-1 win over the Dodgers on Thursday.

Advice: Langford singled in a run in the first to give Texas a 2-0 lead, and he extended that lead to 3-0 with another run-scoring knock in the third. The rookie outfielder’s pair of hits and RBI improve his slash to .238/.300/.317 with 19 runs driven in. There have been just enough moments like this to suggest Langford isn’t just a long-term option. Rotoworld Thursday, 10:09 pm

    • Hitting streak reaches 11
Reynolds went 1-for-5 with an RBI on Thursday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Reynolds hit a comebacker that glanced off Lance Lynn in the fifth inning to extend his hitting streak to 11 games. The outfielder has gone 15-for-46 in that span, while also tallying six RBI and five runs scored. Even with the strong stretch, Reynolds is hitting a mediocre .262 and also has a .160 ISO across 306 plate appearances this season -- the lowest mark of his career. • Aaron Judge fans four times, loses on-base streak
Aaron Judge struck out all four times up versus the Royals on Thursday to snap a 37-game on-base streak.

Advice: It was all quiet from the Yankees before the game, but we wonder if something is up with Judge, who was put at DH today even though he just had Monday off and it meant sitting Giancarlo Stanton after he’d homered the previous two days. It was the third golden sombrero of the year for Judge. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:26 pm

    • Nearly ready to take swings
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Thursday that Nootbaar (oblique) continues to take part in "rotational work" and could resume swinging a bat this weekend, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Cardinals will presumably ease Nootbaar into swinging by having him hit off a tee or hit soft-toss throws before he eventually gains clearance to hit against higher-velocity pitching. In addition to being able to hit without discomfort, Nootbaar, who has been on the injured list since May 31 with a left oblique strain, will also need to prove that the injury doesn't compromise him when he runs the bases or plays the outfield. He still appears to be at least a couple weeks away from being a realistic option to rejoin the Cardinals, and Nootbaar will presumably need to go out on a minor-league rehab assignment prior to being activated. • Hitting for power
Siri went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double Wednesday against the Cubs.

Advice: The 28-year-old looked to be in line to lose playing time as both Jonny DeLuca and Josh Lowe have gotten healthy, but Siri has now started 11 of the Rays' last 13 games. He has gotten hot at the right time to maintain his role, as he's smacked four homers and four doubles in that span, overshadowing his 34.8 percent strikeout rate. Siri is hitting just .192 for the season and has stopped running -- he has one stolen base since April 6 -- but he may be able to continue producing in the short term. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:33 am

    • Kyle Tucker (shin) won’t be ready Friday
Astros manager Joe Espada said Kyle Tucker won’t return from the IL when first eligible on Friday.

Advice: Espada said Tucker hasn’t been ruled out for the entire weekend, but Friday is off the table. Trey Cabbage has been picking up extra at-bats in place of Tucker, who fouled a ball off his shin last week. Rotoworld Wednesday, 11:20 am

    • Unlikely to return Friday
The Astros announced Wednesday that Tucker (shin) isn't expected to be ready to return from the 10-day injured list Friday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Tucker is feeling better as he works his way back from a bruised right shin, but he hasn't yet resumed baseball activities and won't be ready for activation when first eligible. The Astros have mostly been using Trey Cabbage in right field against right-handers and Chas McCormick versus lefties since Tucker was shut down with the injury. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:50 am

    • Stays red-hot
Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an RBI single during Tuesday's 10-1 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Judge launched his fourth homer of his last three starts, plating Juan Soto on a two-run shot in the seventh inning. The center fielder has also generated multiple hits in four straight games and eight of his last 10 contests. Lost in the mix of his absurd power streak -- which has seen his ISO surpass .400 -- Judge is striking out at a 24.1 percent clip this season, which would be a career low if it stands.
