    • Likely out through All-Star break
Kelly (shoulder) is expected to be held out through the All-Star break, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports Saturday.

Advice: Manager Torey Lovullo noted that Kelly hasn't thrown beyond 75 feet yet and is being brought along slowly. The 35-year-old has been sidelined since late April and didn't start a throwing program until June 4. If he does end up sitting through the All-Star break, Kelly wouldn't be back until July 19 at the earliest. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:41 pm

    • Anthony Santander homers twice in victory Saturday
Anthony Santander went 2-for-2 with two homers, four RBI, and a walk to lead the Orioles to a 6-2 win over the Phillies on Saturday.

Advice: Santander drew a walk in the second inning, then led off the fourth with a solo homer off Taijuan Walker to tie the game. He later gave the Orioles some insurance runs in the eighth, taking José Ruiz deep for a two-run blast for his second homer of the day. After hitting nine home runs over the first two months, he’s already up to eight while hitting .298 in a red-hot June. The 29-year-old slugger is slashing .231/.307/.498 with 17 homers and 42 RBI across 277 plate appearances on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:38 pm

    • Out against southpaw
Suwinski is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Suwinski will take a seat against lefty Ty Blach on Saturday. Michael Taylor will play center field and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:28 pm
    • George Springer scores twice in win over Guardians
George Springer went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored, and one RBI in the Blue Jays’ 5-0 win over the Guardians on Saturday.

Advice: Springer brought the first run in to score for the Blue Jays, knocking a base hit in the second inning before scoring on a single by Spencer Horwitz. Springer then drew a walk to lead off the fourth and cross home plate to score on a single by Isiah Kiner-Falefa. The 34-year-old outfielder is slashing .198/.291/.293 with five homers, 30 runs scored, and eight steals across 265 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:39 pm

    • Kodai Senga (shoulder) throws bullpen on Saturday
Kodai Senga (shoulder) threw around 30 pitches in a successful two-inning bullpen session on Saturday.

Advice: He’ll throw another bullpen early next week and if all goes well with that session, it sounds like Senga will finally be cleared to face live hitters. He’s still going to need several minor league rehab starts before he’s an option to join the Mets’ rotation, but he’s at least taking small steps in the right direction. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:01 pm

    • Tosses bullpen session
Senga (shoulder/triceps) threw a two-inning bullpen session Saturday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Senga was able to throw more than 30 pitches in the session and he's expected to throw a shorter one next week. The right-hander has been slowly working his way back from a posterior right capsule strain and then a subsequent triceps injury, and he's yet to make his season debut. Senga has already been ruled out for the first half of the season, but if he can build on Saturday's session next week, he'll remain on track to return relatively soon following the All-Star break. • Phillies activate Brandon Marsh for Saturday return
Phillies activated OF Brandon Marsh from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Marsh is back in left field and batting seventh for Saturday’s contest against the Orioles following a two-week absence due to a right hamstring strain. The 26-year-old corner outfielder has compiled a solid .264/.344/.426 triple-slash line with six homers and eight steals in 186 plate appearances over 52 games so far. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:52 am

    • Activated from injured list
The Phillies activated Marsh (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Saturday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Marsh wound up missing just under two weeks of action with a right hamstring strain. He was cleared to return after going 4-for-8 with one walk in two rehab games with Double-A Reading. Marsh has slashed .265/.344/.426 with six homers and eight steals for the Phillies this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:50 am

    • Transferred to 60-day IL
Strider (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Advice: Strider is already set to miss the remainder of the 2024 campaign after undergoing elbow surgery in April, so the move to the 60-day IL doesn't affect his outlook. The right-hander will still have his sights set on a return at some point early in the 2025 season; in the meantime, Saturday's transaction opened a spot on the 40-man roster for Ramon Laureano, who had his contract selected from Triple-A Gwinnett.
