    • Second straight poor start
Glasnow allowed five runs on three hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: All of the damage came in the fourth inning between a Willy Adames RBI single and a Rhys Hoskins grand slam. Glasnow has allowed five runs in back-to-back starts, though he's avoided the loss in both of those outings. For the season, he has a 3.47 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 143:29 K:BB through 109 innings over 18 starts. He's projected to make his next start at Detroit rather than Philadelphia due to the Dodgers inserting Justin Wrobleski into the rotation for a spot start Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm
    • Kenley Jansen throws scoreless 10th for save
Kenley Jansen worked a scoreless 10th inning for his 17th save Friday against the Yankees.

Advice: Working with a two-run lead, Jansen allowed a single but still prevented the automatic runner from scoring in a 5-3 game. It’s his ninth straight scoreless appearance, and his ERA currently stands at 2.08. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:58 pm
    • Power ticking up
Suwinski went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk Friday against the Mets.

Advice: Suwinski has had a disappointing season, but he's shown signs of turning things around in a very limited recent sample. Friday's long ball was his eighth of the season, and he now has three extra-base hits across his last four games. Suwinski still has just a .148 ISO and 67 wRC+ for the season, though he's remained in the starting lineup against righties. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:51 pm

    • Glasnow allows grand slam in no-decision vs. MIL
Tyler Glasnow went six innings while surrendering five runs in a start against the Brewers while not qualifying for a decision.

Advice: If you take away one swing, this start looks a heck of a lot better. Glasnow allowed only three hits while striking out seven and walking two, but whenever you give up a grand slam, you’re literally taking away a chance for a quality start. In this case, the bases were jammed and then cleared by Rhys Hoskins to give Milwaukee a 5-2 lead in the fifth. Fortunately for Glasnow and the Dodgers, Los Angeles was able to score six unanswered to get the win. His final start before the All-Star break is scheduled against the Tigers on Friday. • X-rays on hand negative
X-rays on Altuve's left hand came back negative following his removal from Friday's game versus Minnesota, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Advice: Altuve made an early exit from Friday's game in the eighth inning after taking a pitch off his hand, but he managed to escape the incident with only a bruise. It's possible he sits out a game or two in order to give his hand a chance to properly recover, but an extended absence isn't likely. The 34-year-old is slashing .387/.457/.516 with a homer and five RBI over his last seven games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:52 pm

    • Jose Altuve diagnosed with left hand contusion
The Astros got good news after Friday night’s victory over the Twins as the X-rays on the injured left hand of Jose Altuve came back negative for any fractures.

Advice: Altuve was diagnosed with a left hand contusion and is considered day-to-day. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get a day off on Saturday to be on the safe side, but the 34-year-old infielder shouldn’t be looking at any sort of extended absence. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:50 pm

    • Kenley Jansen nails down 17th save
Kenley Jansen kept the Yankees off the board in the 10th inning to secure the save on Friday night.

Advice: Jansen was tasked with facing Juan Soto and Aaron Judge up two runs in the 10th inning and didn’t allow anyone to score. He slammed the door in what was a dramatic win for his Red Sox. Jansen hasn’t allowed an earned run since June 12th and hasn’t blown a save since April 16th. Take that, father time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:07 pm
    • Jose Altuve (hand) leaves game after hit by pitch
Jose Altuve was removed from Friday night’s battle against the Twins after being hit by a pitch on his left hand.

Advice: Altuve was clipped by a 94.3 mph sinker from Josh Winder. The 34-year-old superstar second baseman was grimacing and looked to be in obvious pain on the field. He’ll head for X-rays to see if he’s dealing with any fractures. The Astros should have an update on his status after that imaging is complete. In the meantime, all fantasy managers can do is wait and hope for the best. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:00 pm

    • Exits after HBP
Altuve was removed from Friday's game against the Twins after getting by a pitch, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Altuve took a 94 mph sinker off his left hand/wrist during the eighth inning of Friday's contest and was taken out of the game after conferring with a trainer. He'll presumably undergo imaging in the clubhouse, and the Astros should offer an update on his status after the game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:40 pm
