• Homers again Monday
O'Hearn went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 7-4 win over the Twins.

Advice: O'Hearn has two homers and a pair of multi-hit efforts over his last two contests. The 30-year-old has carved out a strong-side platoon role at designated hitter while also seeing some time at first base. O'Hearn is quietly finding success in the heart of the Orioles' order, batting .325 with three homers, four RBI, nine runs scored, two doubles and a triple through 13 contests. He has not yet attempted a stolen base after swiping five bags in 112 games last year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:52 pm

  • Homer shy of cycle
Arias went 3-for-4 with a triple, a double, one RBI and one run scored in Monday's 6-0 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Arias came up a home run short of a cycle, but it was still another excellent game for the utility man. He's gone 6-for-10 over his last three contests, with four of those hits going for extra bases. Monday's strong performance lifted his batting average to .308, and he's added a stolen base, five RBI and five runs scored through 27 plate appearances. Arias doesn't have a path to everyday at-bats yet, but he's putting the pressure on Brayan Rocchio, as shortstop has been the weak spot in the Guardians' infield so far. • Michael Busch homers in fifth straight game
Michael Busch made it five straight games with a homer by taking Merrill Kelly deep Monday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Kelly had pitched five scoreless innings before Busch hit one 419 feet in the sixth. Busch also walked twice tonight and made a strong case for remaining in the lineup when the Cubs face a lefty in Tommy Henry on Tuesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:55 pm
  • Ryan Noda lifted for pinch-hitter in eighth
Ryan Noda was pulled for a pinch-hitter after going 0-for-2 with a strikeout against the Cardinals on Monday.

Advice: Noda hit leadoff in his first seven appearances for the A’s this season. His last four starts have seen him hit sixth, seventh, eighth and now ninth. The only way to drop him further now is to put him on the bench. It seems like he deserves a chance to rebound, considering that he was one of Oakland’s best players last season, but it’s been ugly so far; he’s batting .156 with one extra-base hit, very weak exit velocity numbers and a far higher groundball rate than last year. • Clubs another homer
Toglia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Monday's 2-1 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Toglia launched his fourth home run of the 2024 campaign, matching his homer total from a season before in 34 fewer games. Despite his impressive power output, Toglia owns a poor .167 on-base percentage with a massive 36.1 percent strikeout rate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:44 pm

  • Nursing calf issue
Cronenworth left Monday's game against the Brewers after experiencing tightness in his calf, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Cronenworth reportedly felt the issue while trying to reach base on a groundout during the eighth inning, but skipper Mike Shildt said after the game that it's too early to know if the injury will force Cronenworth to miss additional time. The 30-year-old will be considered day-to-day until the medical staff has more information to share. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:31 pm

  • Smashes third homer
Pasquantino went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a double in Monday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Pasquantino went deep for the second straight game, crushing a 421-foot solo shot off Nick Nastrini in the fourth inning. The Royals first baseman is riding a five-game hit streak over which he has gone 9-for-21 with three home runs, 10 RBI and five runs scored. Pasquantino has used the hot stretch to significantly boost his season slash line, which stands at .255/.344/.473 over 64 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:09 pm
  • Luis Arráez racks up three hits in loss vs. Giants
Luis Arráez went 3-for-4 and scored a run in Monday’s 4-3 loss against the Giants.

Advice: The Marlins are now 3-14. which is their worst start through 17 games of the regular season in franchise history. On the bright side, Arraez appeared to find his offensive ways against San Francisco’s pitching. It’s his fourth multi-hit game this season and he’s hitting .347 in the month of April after he struggled in the first four games of the season in March when he went 2-for-18. The 27-year-old is a hitting machine, but as of right now, that’s all fantasy managers are getting from the reigning batting champion with how poor the Marlins’ offense has been to start the season. • Flores’ go-ahead single lifts Giants over Marlins
Wilmer Flores’ pinch hit in the seventh inning helped lift the Giants to a 4-3 win over the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: Flores was not in the starting lineup on Monday, but delivered a clutch RBI single in the seventh inning to score. The 32-year-old came is coming back from a shoulder injury that he suffered at the end of March, but he’s likely to stay in a platoon role as a pinch hitter and at first base. Flores is slashing .250/317/.278 with three RBI in his first 11 games this season Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm
