• Set for another rehab outing
Gibault (forearm) will make at least one more rehab appearance for Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Advice: This will be Gibault's fifth appearance while out on rehab assignment. The right-hander threw two scoreless innings for High-A Dayton and was moved to Louisville, where he's allowed four runs on four hits over 1.2 innings. He's targeted to return April 20. • Edward Cabrera strikes out 10 in season debut
Edward Cabrera struck out 10 and allowed just one run over six innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Giants.

Advice: Cabrera made a serious statement in his return to Miami’s starting rotation, generating 17 swinging strikes and finishing with an elite 42 percent CSW in a highly impressive season debut. It was just his third career double-digit strikeout performance. The 26-year-old former top prospect, who looked outstanding during spring training before landing on the injured list in mid-March with a right shoulder impingement, has dealt with serious control issues in the past, which made it even more impressive that he handed out only one free pass in his highly-anticipated return. The strikeout upside has always been there for Cabrera, which means he could rapidly evolve into an upper-echelon fantasy contributor, if he’s solved his omnipresent control issues. He should be rostered in all fantasy formats until further notice and will aim to keep the momentum going this weekend in a home start against the Cubs in Miami’s pitcher-friendly loan Depot park. • Picks up steal in loss
Ohtani went 1-for-3 with two runs and a stolen base Monday in a loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Ohtani extended his on-base streak to 15 games with a first-inning single that led to the Dodgers' first run. The slugger also reached on catcher's interference in the sixth frame, and he subsequently stole second base, reached third on a wild pitch and scored the team's second run on a Will Smith groundout. Ohtani is giving the Dodgers consistent offensive production out of the No. 2 slot in the lineup, slashing .338/.384/.648 with four homers, 10 RBI< 15 runs and three stolen bases through 86 plate appearances. • Nails down another save
Finnegan picked up a save against the Dodgers on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning.

Advice: Finnegan was staked to a two-run lead when he entered in the ninth inning, and he retired all three batters he faced to close out the contest. The right-hander is tied for the league lead with six saves on the campaign, and he's held the opponent without an earned run in all but one of his eight outings. Finnegan came into the season with a shaky hold on the closer role for the Nationals, but he appears to be firmly in control of ninth-inning duties for the time being given his success rate so far. • Beats Dodgers in big-league debut
Parker (1-0) earned the win over the Dodgers on Monday, allowing two runs on four hits and no walks while striking out four batters over five innings.

Advice: Parker was recalled from Triple-A Rochester on Monday afternoon and faced the daunting task of going up against a loaded Dodgers lineup in his first major-league outing. The 24-year-old southpaw handled the task with aplomb, allowing just four baserunners and limiting Los Angeles to a pair of runs to nab the win. Given his successful debut, Parker figures to remain in the rotation for the time being with Josiah Gray on the injured list due to a right flexor strain. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:44 pm
  • Grabs first win
Tate (1-0) allowed a hit over 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the win Monday over the Twins. He did not strike out or walk a batter.

Advice: Tate's usage so far has been versatile -- he's worked more than an inning twice over six appearances. Outside of allowing two runs (one earned) over one inning in his season debut March 28, Tate has been excellent. He's at a 1.29 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 4:4 K:BB through seven innings overall, though the lack of late-inning assignments is not helping his fantasy value, especially with lackluster strikeout numbers. • Looks good in big-league debut
Vanasco pitched two perfect innings in relief against the Nationals on Monday, striking out one batter.

Advice: Vanasco was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City prior to the contest and entered in the eighth inning with Los Angeles down three runs. The right-hander ended up finishing the contest, throwing an efficient 14 of 20 pitches for strikes and retiring all six batters he faced. The Dodgers are opting for a bullen game Tuesday, per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, so there's a good chance Vanasco will be sent back down to the minors in short order to make room for a fresh arm. That said, his impressive major-league debut Monday should land him additional chances to pitch out of the big-league team's bullpen this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:38 pm

  • Picks up win
Herrin (1-0) walked one and struck out three over two hitless and scoreless innings to earn the win Monday over the Red Sox.

Advice: Xzavion Curry tossed five scoreless innings in his season debut, but the Guardians' offense didn't wake up until the seventh inning. Herrin ended up as the pitcher of record while accounting for half of the Cleveland bullpen's four scoreless frames. The southpaw has a 1.04 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 7:5 K:BB over 8.2 innings this season, while also earning one hold in eight appearances. Herrin gives the Guardians a multi-inning option, and while he's had a strong start to the year, the team's bullpen as a whole has been a strength, giving him little chance of moving into a high-leverage role. • Roughed up by Nationals
Glasnow (3-1) took the loss against Washington on Monday, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out five batters over five innings.

Advice: Glasnow was absolutely dominant against Minnesota in his previous outing, striking out 14 batters over seven scoreless innings. He couldn't carry that momentum into Monday, as he took his first loss as a Dodger and gave up a season high six runs and eight hits. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after the outing that Glasnow has been under the weather in recent days, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic, so that may have had something to do with his subpar results against the Nationals. Given that the hurler was still able to give Los Angeles 94 pitches over five frames, there seems to be very little chance that the illness will prevent Glasnow from taking his next turn in the rotation on schedule.
