      Advice: It’s Betts’ first start at second base in exactly a month, as the Dodgers had been leaving him at shortstop when playing Rojas over Gavin Lux against lefties.       X-rays on Lindor's left index finger came back negative after he injured it on a bunt attempt during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

      Advice: Despite injuring his finger during the first game of Tuesday's action, Lindor was still able to play in the nightcap and go 1-for-4. The 30-year-old shortstop is dealing with a bit of swelling in his finger, but the Mets don't currently have a backup middle infielder on their 26-man roster -- complicating any plans to give Lindor time off to heal.       Advice: His sixth-inning double was 106 mph off the bar and extended his hitting streak to 17 games. The 22-year-old is 22-for-64 (.344) over that stretch with two home runs, 10 RBI, and three steals. He has been leading off consistently against left-handed pitching, but if the Cardinals decide to move him up in the order full-time, he could see a big fantasy boost with the likely improvement to his counting stats.       Advice: Lindor’s two-run tater off Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow represented New York’s lone runs of the contest as they squandered a prime opportunity for a walk-off victory in the ninth inning by wasting a bases-loaded, one-out situation.       Advice: Freeman led the game off with a double and scored the first run. He later knocked an RBI single in the second inning and added another double in the ninth. It was his first multi-hit game since going 4-for-4 on May 18. Freeman boosted his slash line to .228/.324/.370 with 15 extra-base hits and 31 runs scored through 189 plate appearances.       Tyler Freeman went 3-for-5 and doubled twice as the Guardians’ leadoff man Monday against the Rockies.

      Advice: Freeman won’t be spending much time in the leadoff spot after Steven Kwan comes off the IL, but he looks like a lineup fixture right now.
