    Advice: Crow-Armstrong is taking the roster spot vacated by the injured Cody Bellinger (ribs). The 22-year-old has hit just .203/.241/.392 with a 24:3 K:BB over his first 19 games at Iowa this season, but he could still see ample action in center field in Bellinger's place if manager Craig Counsell wants Crow-Armstrong terrific glove in the lineup.     Advice: Dropping Carroll to seventh against a right-hander seems like an overreaction to his slow start, but it’s not something that figures to last. It is rather concerning how rarely Carroll is hitting the ball hard this year, but his excellent approach has remained intact, and the batting average will surely start to climb.     Advice: The 22-year-old outfielder will join Chicago’s active roster after the team placed Cody Bellinger on the injured list with a rib injury.     Cubs manager Craig Counsell confirmed that Bellinger has been placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a right rib fracture, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

    Advice: Bellinger was removed from Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Astros with what the team had labeled as a right rib contusion, after initial X-rays had returned negative. However, after Bellinger was sent in for a CT scan earlier Wednesday, he was found to have suffered structural damage to his ribs, and he'll now be forced to miss at least the next week and a half while he heals up from the injury. The Cubs called up Pete Crow-Armstrong from Triple-A Iowa in a corresponding move, and he could end up serving as the primary replacement for Bellinger in center field if Counsell wants to prioritize defense over offense.     Advice: There isn’t a reported designation for Bellinger, but given it’s a rib fracture, fantasy managers can expect the 28-year-old to miss an extended period of time. X-rays were initially negative, but a CT scan on Wednesday morning revealed a fracture in his right rib after he collided into the centerfield wall against the Astros on Tuesday.
