    • Perfect for save No. 13
Jansen earned the save Tuesday against Toronto, striking out one batter during a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Jansen has now converted on nine straight save chances and hasn't allowed a hit or walk across his last 2.2 innings of action. He's picked up a save in four straight appearances and is tied for the fifth most saves in the American League. Overall, Jansen owns a 2.70 ERA and a 30:11 K:BB across 23.1 innings. • Provides early lift
Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 5-0 win over Washington.

Advice: Marte got it started early with a two-run home run in the first inning. He later plated a run on a sacrifice fly. While he's had a good season to date -- one that's generating All-Star buzz from Arizona Sports -- Marte can be even more productive if Corbin Carroll's bat stays hot ahead of him in the lineup. Carroll's batting .340 over the last 12 games, and Marte has driven in 10 runs during that stretch. For the season, Marte has an .863 OPS, 15 home runs, 42 RBI, three steals and 50 runs scored. • Willi Castro plates three in victory over Rays
Willi Castro doubled twice and finished with three RBI on Tuesday, leading the Twins to a 7-6 victory over the Rays.

Advice: Castro put Minnesota ahead briefly in a topsy-turvy marathon at Target Field with a bases-clearing double in the fourth inning off Rays starter Aaron Civale. He also recorded another double and walked in this one, reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances out of the leadoff spot. The 27-year-old has been locked-in at the dish over the last few days, hitting .379 (11-for-29) with one homer and one steal over his last seven games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:20 am

    • Ends power drought
Yelich went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Angels.

Advice: Yelich opened the scoring with a first-inning homer, his first long ball since May 29. Power has been the only missing element for the veteran outfielder in June -- he's batting .322 (19-for-59) this month, but with just two extra-base hits and five RBI over 16 contests. For the year, Yelich is slashing .324/.400/.506 with seven homers, 32 RBI, 25 runs scored and 14 stolen bases over 200 plate appearances in what's shaping up to be his best campaign since 2019. • Kirby Yates takes first loss after unearned run
Kirby Yates took his first loss after giving up an unearned run in the ninth Tuesday against the Mets.

Advice: José Leclerc’s inability to get the job done in the seventh stressed the Rangers bullpen tonight. David Roberson had to get the final two outs of that inning and then wound up giving up two runs in the eighth on his 30th pitch of the night. Yates came into a tie game in the ninth and gave up the go-ahead run on a walk, a catcher’s interference and a double. The catcher’s interference was provided by J.D. Martinez, who again tested the boundaries of the batter’s box, but at least he didn’t break anyone’s arm this time. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:46 pm
    • Jansen picks up 13th save in win over Blue Jays
Kenley Jansen pitched a scoreless ninth in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Jansen has now picked up saves in back-to-back days and has recorded four saves in the month of June. The hard-throwing righty has allowed one run in his last 6 1/3 innings pitched while striking out eight batters to just one walk. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:48 pm
    • Ben Rice records first career hit in pro debut
Ben Rice went 1-for-4 with a single in Tuesday’s win over the Orioles.

Advice: Rice hit an opposite-field fly ball to left in his first career at-bat but singled with runners on first and second to record his first career hit. Rice manned first base in place of Anthony Rizzo (hand) in his debut and overcame an early fielding gaffe to turn in a solid first outing as a pro. Rice was slashing .275/.393/.532 with 15 homers and 36 RBI in the minors this season. He’ll have ample opportunities to contribute to the Yankees’ lineup, with Rizzo set to miss an extended length of time. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:27 pm
    • Ketel Marte homers, drives in three vs. Nationals
Ketel Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Nationals.

Advice: Marte hit a 434-foot shot off Jake Irvin in the top of the first to give the Diamondbacks an early 2-0 lead. It was Marte’s 15 homer of the season and marks his third-straight game with an RBI. He would later bring home Corbin Carroll on a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. The veteran second baseman has bounced back nicely from a down May in which he hit .216 and is now slashing .360/.468/.640 in the month of June with five home runs and 13 RBI. • Added to roster, batting sixth
The Yankees selected Rice's contract from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.

Advice: Rice earned a call-up after slashing .275/.393/.532 with 15 home runs, nine stolen bases and a 56:40 K:BB over 268 plate appearances between Double-A Trenton and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He's a catcher and a first baseman but is in line to be used mostly in the latter capacity while Anthony Rizzo (arm) is sidelined. Rice will start at first base and bat sixth in his major-league debut Tuesday versus the Orioles. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:38 pm
