    • Launches first homer of 2024
Lowe went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder connected on his first long ball of 2024 when he took Nick Pivetta deep in the first inning. Lowe is quickly making up for lost time after missing the first month-plus of the season due to an oblique strain, and in seven games since being activated from the IL he's batting .320 (8-for-25) with four doubles and a homer. • Josh Lowe has two hits, HR vs Red Sox
Josh Lowe went 2-for-4 with a walk and a home run in a loss to the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: In the first inning, Lowe took Pivetta deep 385 feet on a ball that left the bat at 107 mph. It was the 26-year-old’s first home run of the season, and he’s now slashing .320/.360/.600 in seven games since coming off the IL. The Rays continue to hit him in the middle of the lineup, and he should be in for another big season if he can stay healthy. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:30 pm
    • Could return Friday
Rengifo (illness) fielded grounders Monday and could return from the injured list when eligible Friday, per MLB.com.

Advice: Rengifo came down with a viral infection in early May and landed on the IL when the illness caused painful blisters on his feet. His ability to take grounders Monday is a good indication that he's doing better, and there's a chance he could spend the minimum amount of time on the injured list. Upon his return, Rengifo should slide back into a starting role at third base -- Niko Goodrum, Luis Guillorme and Cole Tucker have been filling in at the hot corner in his stead. • Ronald Acuña Jr. plates run in victory over Cubs
Ronald Acuña Jr. went 1-for-3 with an RBI on Monday, leading the Braves to a 2-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Acuña extended Atlanta’s lead with a sixth-inning RBI single off Cubs reliever Hayden Wesneski with two outs in the frame after being picked off first base on a pair of occasions by Chicago starter Shota Imanaga earlier in the contest. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar has gotten it going at the dish of late, batting .275 (11-for-40) with two homers and one steal in 10 games since the start of May. Rotoworld Monday, 7:46 pm
    • Hits in four of five games
Lowe went 1-for-4 with a double and a walk Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: Lowe has appeared in five games since returning from an oblique and hamstring injury, and he's reached base in all four of his starts. He's hit either second or third in the Rays' lineup, though he did sit in the team's only game against a lefty since he was activated. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:45 am
    • Strong showing in loss
Taveras went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 8-3 loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Taveras has three multi-hit efforts in May and is hitting .333 (12-for-36) over 10 contests this month. He has two homers and two steals over his last four games. The outfielder is up to a .256/.329/.395 slash line, three long balls, four steals, 10 RBI, 20 runs scored, seven doubles and a triple through 38 games this season. While Taveras is stuck at the bottom of the Rangers' order, he is enjoying a near-everyday role as a switch hitter. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:02 pm
    • Josh Lowe sitting against lefty on Saturday
Josh Lowe is not in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Yankees.

Advice: Lowe has gone 4-for-13 through four contests since making his season debut earlier this week. He’ll take a seat on Saturday afternoon with crafty left-hander Nestor Cortes on the mound for New York. The 26-year-old fantasy stalwart figures to continue sitting against southpaws, but will do enough damage against right-handed pitching to make up for it. Rotoworld Saturday, 12:04 pm
    • Finding stride at plate
Acuna went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Mets.

Advice: He took Jose Quintana deep in the third inning, part of a four-run frame for Atlanta. Acuna may be turning things around at the plate -- after posting a 26.5 percent strikeout rate in April, he's fanned just 19.4 percent of the time through the first seven games in May. He's also batting .310 (9-for-29) to begin the month with two of his three homers on the season. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:31 am
    • Ronald Acuña Jr. goes deep in win
Ronald Acuña Jr. hit just his third home run of the season Friday in a win over the Mets.

Advice: A welcome sight, Acuña’s homer was an impressive shot traveling an estimated 461 feet through the cold, rainy New York night at 114.2 mph exit velocity. Acuña’s power hasn’t been there yet this season, but patience is a virtue with a superstar of this level. Rotoworld Friday, 7:50 pm
