    • Struggles versus Miami
Wheeler pitched four innings, allowing six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: Wheeler didn't have his best stuff Sunday, matching a season-high six hits given up while the two strikeouts were a season low. Most notably, the right-hander gave up a three-run homer to Josh Bell in the bottom of the third inning, which was only the fourth long ball surrendered by Wheeler in 2024. The 33-year-old still owns an impressive 2.53 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with 65 strikeouts over 53.1 innings in nine starts this season, and his next projected outing is set to come Friday at home versus the Nationals. • Electric versus Blue Jays
Ober (4-1) earned the win after he pitched 6.1 scoreless innings, allowing one hit while striking out 10 batters in Sunday's 5-1 victory over Toronto.

Advice: Ober was nearly perfect Sunday, allowing just a single to Vladimir Guerrero in the bottom of the fourth inning, while his 10 punchouts were a season high. The right-hander has now recorded four quality starts over eight outings this season. Since allowing eight runs against the Royals in his season debut, Ober has produced a 2.16 ERA with 44 strikeouts over 41.2 innings in his last seven starts. He'll look to keep it going when he returns to the mound for his next projected start Saturday in Cleveland. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:16 pm

    • Alex Lange gives up four runs in relief
Alex Lange gave up four runs and five hits in two-thirds of an inning of relief Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: The good news for Lange is that the Tigers probably weren’t winning the game anyway, as he came on in the seventh with the team already down 4-0. Still, this was ugly; after getting the final out of the seventh, he retired just one of eight batters in the eighth. He gave up almost as many hits today as the six he had previously allowed in 14 innings this season, and his ERA, which was deflated by the fact that six of the seven runs he’d given up had been ruled unearned, went from 0.67 to 3.07. This can’t help his standing in the saves mix in Detroit. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:03 pm

    • Kenley Jansen locks down seventh save in win
Kenley Jansen threw a scoreless ninth inning in a 3-2 win over the Nationals to secure a save.

Advice: The save was Jansen’s seventh on the season, and the veteran now has a 2.63 ERA on the year. He’s still likely to be moved by the trade deadline, but he figures to get a shot to close no matter where he goes, so he remains a rock-solid fantasy asset. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:52 pm
    • Bello returns with solid outing against Nationals
Brayan Bello allowed two runs on four hits in five innings in a win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Bello struck out just one and walked two, but he also allowed only one extra-base hit and an average exit velocity of just 85 mph. He didn’t miss many bats in this one, with a 19 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but it wasn’t a bad effort in his first start coming off the IL. He’ll look to build on it next week against a reeling Cardinals offense. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:40 pm

    • Zack Wheeler tagged by Marlins on Sunday
Zack Wheeler allowed six runs on six hits in four innings in a no-decision against the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Wheeler allowed seven hard-hit balls in just four innings of work, including a three-run homer to Josh Bell. He posted just a 12 percent whiff rate and 15 percent CSW and was only able to land his sinker in the strike zone 32 percent of the time. It feels like just an off-game for Wheeler, whose velocity was fine. He’ll carry a 2.53 ERA into next week’s start against the Nationals. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:11 pm

    • Bailey Ober strikes out 10 in gem versus Jays
Bailey Ober pitched one-hit ball for 6 1/3 scoreless innings and struck out 10 as the Twins defeated the Blue Jays 5-1 on Sunday.

Advice: It’s his second career 10-strikeout game, with the other coming against the White Sox in Sept. 2022. Ober opened this season with the very worst outing of his career, but since that eight-run barrage, he has a 2.16 ERA and a 44/7 K/BB ratio in 41 2/3 innings. He’s not quite this good, but he should remain an excellent fantasy starter going forward. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:30 pm

    • Red Sox reinstate Brayan Bello (lat) off of IL
Red Sox reinstated RHP Brayan Bello off the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Bello has been out since the end of April due to right lat tightness. The right-hander will rejoin the rotation, but it’s worth pointing out he threw just 52 pitches in his last rehab start. He’ll get the ball Sunday against the Nationals, but fantasy managers should proceed with some caution for this outing. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:16 am

    • Activated ahead of start
The Red Sox reinstated Bello (lat) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Bello landed on the IL on April 24 due to right lat tightness, which he experienced coming out of his start April 19 versus the Pirates. He was able to get the green light to rejoin the big-league rotation after making one rehab start with Double-A Portland on Tuesday, when he allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out five over 2.2 innings. Bello holds a 3-1 record through five starts for the Red Sox with a 3.04 ERA and 1.05 WHIP over 26.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:11 am
