• Turns in scoreless outing
Pepiot (3-2) yielded two hits over six shutout frames Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Brewers.

Advice: Pepiot was nearly untouchable Monday, allowing just one Brewer to reach scoring position. At one point, he retired 14 consecutive batters. He's produced three straight quality starts and four in his six appearances this year. Over his last outings, Pepiot has given up just two runs with an 18:5 K:BB through 18 innings. He'll carry a 3.12 ERA into his next start, which is projected to be at home against the Mets this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 7:34 pm

  • Runs wild again Monday
Young went 1-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases in Monday's 7-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Both pilfers came in the fifth inning, as Young stole second then teamed up with CJ Abrams on a double steal after the shortstop drew a walk. Young's 12 stolen bases on the season are third in the majors behind Elly De La Cruz (18) and Brice Turang (13), and he's slashing .328/.368/.391 through 21 games. Victor Robles (hamstring) is set to begin a rehab assignment this week as he nears his return from the IL, but Young seems to have a firm hold on the starting job in center field for the Nationals. • Records first win
Leiter (1-1) retired the only two batters he faced out of the bullpen to earn the win in Monday's 3-1 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Starter Jameson Taillon was excellent over 7.1 innings, but the Cubs turned to Leiter to get the last two outs of the eighth. The veteran righty delivered, then scooped up his first win of the year when Christopher Morel hit a go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth. Leiter has been excellent all year, posting a 0.69 ERA and 13 strikeouts across 13 innings. He should continue to work in a setup role ahead of new closer Hector Neris, though he could be next up for saves if Neris falters. Rotowire.com Today, 7:30 pm
  • Productive in big win
Abrams went 1-for-3 with two walks, a two-run home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 7-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: The 23-year-old shortstop was once again the engine of the Nationals' offense from the leadoff spot, as Abrams took Trevor Rogers deep in the third inning then teamed up with Jacob Young for a double steal in the fifth. Abrams has reached base safely in 15 straight games, and on the season he's slashing .297/.377/.634 with seven homers, six stolen bases, 17 RBI and 21 runs in 25 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 7:28 pm

  • Sharp in second win
Irvin (2-2) picked up the win in Monday's 7-2 victory over the Marlins, giving up two runs on four hits over six innings. He struck out three without walking a batter.

Advice: The right-hander delivered his third quality start of the season in efficient fashion, tossing 59 of 84 pitches for strikes and taking a shutout into the sixth inning before Jazz Chisholm launched a two-run homer to center field. Irvin will carry a 4.28 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 26:7 K:BB through 33.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Blue Jays. Rotowire.com Today, 7:25 pm

  • Hits go-ahead home run
Morel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 3-1 win over the Mets.

Advice: Morel was hitless until the ninth inning, when he delivered a two-out home run with a runner on against New York closer Edwin Diaz to break open a 1-1 tie. The key blast was Morel's fourth of the season and first since April 9. He's not off to as fast of a start as he had last year, but the 24-year-old can heat up in a hurry, and perhaps this effort will provide the spark. Rotowire.com Today, 7:25 pm

  • Ryan Pepiot throws six scoreless innings in win
Ryan Pepiot went six scoreless innings and punched out seven batters in Monday’s 1-0 win against the Brewers.

Advice: Pepiot has now made it through six innings in three straight starts. After allowing four or more earned runs in two of his first three starts this season, the 26-year-old has found his rhythm and hasn’t allowed more than one run in his last three outings. Opponents are now batting .168 against the right-hander and he now has 38 strikeouts through his first six starts. He’s a must start in all fantasy formats and will look to continue a solid 2024 campaign against the Mets. Rotoworld Today, 7:12 pm

  • Bryse Wilson strikes out six in loss versus Rays
Bryse Wilson yielded just one run and struck out six batters against the Rays on Monday.

Advice: It’s a season-high in strikeouts for Wilson who was in command following a shaky first inning against Tampa Bay. Wilson hit Yandy Diaz and then allowed back-to-back walks to load the bases with no outs in the first frame. He was able to get Issac Paredes to ground out into a double play and got out of the inning with limited damage, giving up just one run. Following that inning, the 26-year-old hurler locked in and didn’t allow a run in his final five innings. Given the Brewers are in a rough spot given the injuries to their rotation, Wilson did more than enough to give them a chance. He should get his next opportunity against the Cubs this weekend. • Christopher Morel hits go-ahead homer to sink Mets
Christopher Morel slugged a go-ahead two-run homer on Monday, powering the Cubs to a 3-1 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Morel stunned the New York faithful at Citi Field with a tie-breaking ninth-inning blast to left-center field off Mets stopper Edwin Díaz. It was his fourth big fly of the season and snapped a 16-game homerless drought dating back to April 9. Rotoworld Today, 6:29 pm
