    • Sitting Saturday
Schneider is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Guardians, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: Schneider will take a seat after he went 3-for-8 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored over the team's last two contests. Daulton Varsho will slot in at left field while Kevin Kiermaier (knee) returns to the lineup in center field and bats ninth against Cleveland. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:31 am

    • Marcell Ozuna crushes 19th home run in win
Marcell Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer, walk, and two runs scored against the Rays on Friday.

Advice: Ozuna got the Braves going early, taking Zack Littell deep to the opposite field in the first inning and Atlanta wouldn’t look back. Ozuna tied Kyle Tucker for third in the league with 19 home runs and has been one of the best offensive players in baseball so far this season. Rotoworld Friday, 7:03 pm

    • Back in San Diego lineup
Profar (knee) will start in left field and bat third in Friday's game versus the Mets.

Advice: Profar exited Tuesday and sat out Wednesday due to left patellar tendinitis, which is something he's evidently dealt with off and on for years. However, he worked out pregame Friday following Thursday's team off day and is feeling well enough to give it a go. Rotowire.com Friday, 1:19 pm
    • Jurickson Profar (knee) returns to lineup Friday
Jurickson Profar (knee) returned to the Padres’ starting lineup for Friday night’s showdown against the Mets.

Advice: Profar suffered a non-contact knee injury on a swing during Tuesday’s game and sat out on Wednesday as a precautionary measure, but he’s right back in his customary third spot in the Padres’ lineup and starting in left field on Friday night. He has been one of the biggest surprises of the first half of the season this year — slashing a robust .324/.424/.500 with 10 homers, 45 RBI and four stolen bases in 284 plate appearances. • Duran has two hits, two RBI in win Thursday
Jarren Duran went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, a run scored and two RBI against the Phillies on Thursday.

Advice: Duran’s two-run double in the second inning made it 4-0 Red Sox. He scored on Tyler O’Neill’s three-run home run in the fourth inning that gave Boston an 8-3 lead. Duran is hitting .272 with 30 RBI with the Red Sox this year. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:25 pm

    • Three hits in win
Duran went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 8-6 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Duran singled in the third inning, hit an RBI single and scored in the fifth. He then doubled in the sixth. Duran has been stellar through 10 games in June, hitting .357 with six extra-base hits, five RBI and four steals. He is doing a bit of everything in 2024, hitting .269 with five home runs, 28 RBI, 44 runs scored and 15 steals while hitting leadoff for the Red Sox. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:55 pm

    • MRI comes back clean for Jurickson Profar (knee)
Jurickson Profar (knee) underwent a precautionary MRI exam on his injured knee on Wednesday that came back clean for any structural damage.

Advice: Padres’ fans and fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief, as one of the biggest surprises of the first half of the season won’t miss substantial time. He’s still considered day-to-day and should return to the Padres’ lineup at some point over the weekend. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:00 pm
    • Davis Schneider posts two hits, homers in loss
Davis Schneider went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday in the Blue Jays’ loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Schneider took Brewers starter Tobias Myers deep in the opening frame to supply Toronto’s lone run of the contest until he helped spark a furious ninth-inning rally that came up just short. It was the first time he’s gone deep since May 31. He’s given up some leadoff opportunities to rookie Spencer Horwitz over the last few days, but appears likely to continue batting near the top of the Blue Jays’ lineup. • Jurickson Profar is not in the lineup on Wednesday
Jurickson Profar (knee) is not the Padres’ lineup against the Athletics on Wednesday.

Advice: Profar tweaked his knee in Tuesday night’s game and is considered day-to-day for now. The Padres don’t seem to believe an IL stint is necessary, but it will depend on how Profar responds over the next few days. Jose Azocar will start in left field and bat ninth with Profar on the bench. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:21 pm
