      Ryan Helsley tossed a scoreless ninth inning with one strikeout to earn the save in the second game of a doubleheader against the Braves on Wednesday.

      Advice: Helsley was summoned to close it out in the ninth with a three-run lead against the Braves. He recorded the first out, then allowed two runners on with a single and a walk. A groundout put both runners in scoring position and brought the tying run to the plate with two outs. He Helsley struck out the final batter to end the game with his MLB-leading 28th save.       Wednesday’s game between the Blue Jays and Red Sox in Boston was suspended due to rain.

      Advice: There hadn’t been any rain in the forecast, but a storm popped up early in the second inning and washed out any chances of the two sides getting this game in. The game will resume on August 26 in the top half of the second inning, with the Blue Jays having a runner at first base with one out.       Jonathan India went 2-for-4 with an RBI double on Wednesday in the Reds’ loss to the Pirates.

      Advice: India was responsible for manufacturing Cincinnati’s lone extra-base hit and run of the contest on Wednesday afternoon as they were unable to solve Luis Ortiz over six frames to open the game before relievers Kyle Nicolas and Aroldis Chapman came out of the bullpen to slam the door. It’s flown a bit under the radar, but India is playing some of the best ball of his career at the moment, batting .365 (35-for-96) with three homers, 20 RBI and four steals over his last 30 games.       Advice: Despite the sparse stat line, Chisholm played a key role in the victory -- he smashed an infield single back at Will Smith in the seventh inning, and Nick Gordon came home with the winning run on the southpaw's throwing error.
