    • Struggles with command
Anderson (7-7) picked up the win Tuesday against Oakland, allowing three runs on five hits and five walks across five innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Walks have been an especially pertinent issue for Anderson as of late, with Tuesday's start being his third time issuing five free passes in six appearances. Despite finding the strike zone on just 62 of his 109 pitches, Anderson was good enough at limiting damage to pull out his seventh victory of the season. Still, when the A's made contact, they hit Anderson hard. Three of the 34-year-old's five hits surrendered went for extra bases, with Brent Rooker clubbing a solo homer in the fifth frame. Anderson owns a 2.63 ERA and a 65:46 K:BB across 99.1 innings this season. He's on track to close out a two-start week against Detroit on Sunday. Rotowire.com 53 minutes ago
    • Tallies 12th homer
Paredes went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Tuesday against the Mariners.

Advice: Paredes went yard in the eighth inning to tally his 12th homer of the season and only his second since May 31. He's hit only .229 in that span with nine RBI and six runs scored. Despite the slow stretch, Paredes still has a .821 OPS and .358 wOBA for the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:56 pm

    • Tyler Anderson goes five in win over A’s
Tyler Anderson allowed three runs over five innings Tuesday in a win over the A’s.

Advice: Anderson struck out two and walked five tonight, but walks and strikeouts simply haven’t meant anything to him this season. He’s posted a hideous 65/46 K/BB ratio while amassing a 2.63 ERA in 94 1/3 innings. The win tonight evened his record at 7-7. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:39 pm
    • Allows four runs in loss
Suarez (10-2) took the loss against the Tigers on Tuesday, allowing four runs on nine hits and no walks with four strikeouts over six innings.

Advice: Suarez opened with four scoreless innings but ran into trouble in the fifth, allowing four runs on five hits in the frame. He rebounded with a scoreless sixth but departed with a 4-0 deficit. This was just the second time Suarez allowed four earned runs in an outing this season, as he had allowed only four total earned runs in 20.1 June innings prior to Tuesday. The lefty owns a 2.01 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 99:19 K:BB this season and lines up for another start this weekend against the Marlins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:05 pm
    • Vlad Jr. has four RBI in win over Red Sox
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with four RBI in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Vlad Jr. drove in two on a double in the third inning and then drove in two more on another double in the fourth inning. He now has 40 RBI on the season and has been far and away the Blue Jays’ best hitter this season. He also made two bad errors in the field, but that doesn’t count for most fantasy leagues. • ATL-STL postponed Tuesday
Lopez won't face the Cardinals on Tuesday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Tuesday's game will be made up Wednesday as part of a doubleheader, and Lopez will get the nod to start the earlier of the two games. The 30-year-old righty hasn't allowed an earned run in 11 innings over his last two starts and will be facing a Cardinals offense that currently ranks 10th in the NL with a .687 OPS. • Ranger Suárez stumbles in loss to Tigers
Ranger Suárez allowed four runs over six innings on Tuesday in a loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Suárez was simply outdueled by Tigers ace Tarik Skubal on Tuesday night at Comerica Park as the pair traded zeroes until the fifth inning when Detroit’s lineup struck for four runs on five hits in the frame. He finished with four punchouts and didn’t hand out a free pass. It was just the second time this season through 16 starts that he’s allowed four earned runs or more. He’s in line for an extremely favorable home matchup on Sunday against the Marlins. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:50 pm
    • Still not with team
Hernandez (personal) is unavailable for Tuesday's game against the White Sox, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Hernandez is currently tending to personal matters in the Dominican Republic and was initially expected to rejoin the team prior to Tuesday's contest. However, manager Dave Roberts gave Hernandez an extra day off. The 31-year-old outfielder could be back in the lineup Wednesday for the series finale. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:54 pm

    • Teoscar Hernandez (personal) won’t play Tuesday
Teoscar Hernández (personal) will not play in Tuesday’s game against the White Sox.

Advice: Hernández was scheduled to fly back from the Dominican Republic to Chicago for Tuesday’s affair, but Dodgers manager Dave Roberts decided to give the 31-year-old another day off according to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times. It’s likely that Hernández will be back in the lineup Wednesday against the Pale Hose. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:45 pm
