    • Bassitt allows two runs in seven innings Monday
Chris Bassitt allowed two runs in seven innings and got a no-decision against the Red Sox on Monday.

Advice: Bassitt gave up five hits, walked one and struck out two. He was in line for his seventh win of the season before the Toronto bullpen blew a four-run lead in the eighth inning. Bassitt allowed a two-run home run to Rafael Devers, but was otherwise very successful keeping the Boston offense at bay. He’s completed at least seven innings in two of his last four starts and completed at least six innings in three of his last four starts. Bassitt’s ERA is now 3.45 on the season. The 35-year-old right-hander is set to face the Yankees at home this weekend.

    • Notches 24th save
Clase pitched a scoreless inning, allowing a hit and walk while striking out a batter on his way to a save in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Clase was called upon to protect a 6-5 lead in the top of the ninth inning, and he worked around a pair of baserunners for his 24th save of the season. The right-hander is as elite as it gets at closer, going 24-for-27 on save opportunities in 2024, while he has now converted his last 11 chances. On the season, Clase owns a microscopic 0.72 ERA and 0.64 WHIP with 38 strikeouts over 37.1 innings in 38 appearances out of Cleveland's bullpen. Rotowire.com Jun 23, 8:01 pm
    • Emmanuel Clase grabs 24th save
Emmanuel Clase nailed down the save on Sunday against the Blue Jays after giving up a walk and a hit. He also struck out a batter.

Advice: Clase came in for his fourth outing in five days and earned yet another save. He’s allowed just three earned runs in 37 1/3 innings of work this season and his 24 saves trail only Ryan Helsley. Rotoworld Jun 23, 2:35 pm
    • Tosses seven scoreless
Sanchez (5-3) earned the win Sunday, allowing three hits and striking out four over seven scoreless innings against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Sanchez was highly efficient, needing just 80 pitches through seven and facing just one batter over the minimum thanks to a couple of timely double plays. The seven innings matched a season high for Sanchez, who tossed his eighth quality start and allowed zero runs over six or more innings for the second time this season. It's also the fifth time in his last six starts that Sanchez has allowed one or fewer runs, and he's posted a 1.78 ERA and 1.05 WHIP with 23 strikeouts over 35.1 innings during that stretch. His next start is scheduled to take place next weekend, when the Phillies welcome Miami into the City of Brotherly Love for a four-game set. Rotowire.com Jun 23, 11:39 am
    • Cristopher Sánchez cruises in win over D-backs
Cristopher Sánchez shut out the Diamondbacks for seven innings, surrendering just three hits, in the Phillies’ 4-1 win Sunday.

Advice: Sánchez walked none and struck out four in the 80-pitch outing. He gave up a 387-foot fly to Christian Walker in the first that would have been a homer in nine ballparks, but CBP wasn’t one of them. Sánchez has still allowed just one homer in 84 1/3 innings for the year. He’s 5-3 with a 2.67 ERA. Rotoworld Jun 23, 11:33 am
    • Hit hard Saturday
Berrios (6-6) allowed five runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three over five innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Guardians.

Advice: The Guardians aren't known for power, but they tagged Berrios with three home runs -- Bo Naylor, Jose Ramirez and Steven Kwan all took the right-hander deep. With seven homers allowed over his last four starts, Berrios' trouble with the long ball is becoming a concern. He's given up 14 runs across 22.2 innings in that span and now has a 3.43 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 68:23 K:BB through 97 innings across 16 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home in a difficult matchup versus the Yankees. Rotowire.com Jun 22, 7:30 pm

    • Perfect inning for save
Clase struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Clase retired the side on 15 pitches for his 23rd save of the season. He's pitched four perfect innings over his last four appearances after giving up runs in back-to-back outings June 9 and 11. The 26-year-old has been nearly untouchable for the Guardians with a 0.74 ERA, 0.61 WHIP and 37:3 K:BB over 36.1 innings. He's posted over 40 saves in back-to-back years, and he's well on his way to making it three campaigns in a row. Rotowire.com Jun 22, 7:01 pm
    • Clase picks up 23rd save against Blue Jays
Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless inning and picked up the save against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Clase’s save was his 23rd of the season. His ERA is down to a sparkling 0.74 after he retired the Blue Jays in order. Clase is building a case to be the best closer in baseball this season. Rotoworld Jun 22, 4:05 pm
    • Berrios allows five runs in loss against Guardians
Jose Berrios allowed five runs in five innings and took the loss against the Guardians on Saturday.

Advice: Berrios gave up six hits, walked one and struck out three. Home runs have been a problem for Berrios this year and he allowed three more of them on Saturday. He’s now allowed a total of 17 home runs in 16 starts. His 1.58 HR/9 would be a career-high. The 30-year-old right-hander is set to face the Yankees at home next weekend.
