    • Collects AL-leading 20th save
Clase gave up a run on two hits and struck out two in the ninth inning Tuesday to record his 20th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Reds.

Advice: He made things interesting with two outs in the ninth, allowing an RBI single to Jonathan India and then plunking Blake Dunn to bring the winning run to the plate, but Clase got TJ Friedl to line out to Brayan Rocchio to end the threat. The right-hander has converted seven straight save chances, putting him one ahead of the Yankees' Clay Holmes for the AL lead in the category, and despite getting tagged for runs in each of his last two appearances, Clase sports a dazzling 0.84 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and 34:3 K:BB through 32.1 innings on the season. • Emmanuel Clase locks down 20th save of the season
Emmanuel Clase allowed one run on two hits in the ninth inning but was able to close the door on a 5-3 win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: It was an uncharacteristically chaotic inning for Clase who allowed two singles and hit a batter while allowing one run to balloon his ERA to 0.84 on the season. He did strike out two en route to his 20th save on the season. He remains perhaps the best closer in fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:42 pm

    • Secures 15th save
Kimbrel picked up the save in Monday's 5-2 victory over Tampa Bay. He pitched a scoreless inning allowing no hits and one walk with two strikeouts.

Advice: Trouble seemed to be brewing in the ninth for Kimbrel as he issued a leadoff walk to Amed Rosario, his first free pass allowed since May 8. However, the veteran closer collected himself, punching out two batters before wrapping up the Baltimore win by inducing a Jose Caballero popup. Including this effort, Kimbrel has pitched 11 consecutive outings without allowing an earned run, firing 10 innings with a 0.30 WHIP and 12:1 K:BB. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:46 pm
    • Craig Kimbrel quiets Rays to notch 15th save
Craig Kimbrel tossed a scoreless frame on Monday against the Rays to collect his 15th save of the season.

Advice: Kimbrel got the call to protect a three-run lead in the final frame and managed to work around a leadoff walk to Amed Rosario by striking out Jose Siri and Richie Palacios before coaxing a game-ending pop up from José Caballero. The 36-year-old veteran stopper has righted the ship over the last few weeks since reclaiming Baltimore’s closer role back in mid-May by converting second consecutive save opportunities since May 19. • Charged with loss
Hader (3-4) took the loss Sunday against the Angels after allowing two runs on two hits while striking out a batter over two-thirds of an inning.

Advice: Hader faced five total batters but only was able to record two outs. He entered with two outs in the eighth and got out of the frame. He then returned for the ninth to try and preserve a 7-7 tie and was unable to do so. Hader retired the first batter he faced but then allowed a base hit and a walk-off two-run homer to Logan O'Hoppe. It was Hader's first time allowing multiple runs in an outing since April 15 and his first loss since May 5. It's now been a full week since Hader's picked up his last save, and he sits at nine for the year after tallying 30-plus in each of his last four full seasons. He owns a 4.08 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 46:10 K:BB in 28.2 innings thus far. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:12 am
    • Yields HR in non-save appearance
Clase allowed a solo home run and struck out one during the ninth inning of Sunday's 6-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Clase took the mound in the ninth inning despite the Guardians owning a four-run lead, and he surrendered a two-out solo homer to Jake Burger during the outing. Due to the score, Clase wasn't eligible for a save, though the Guardians opted to give him his first game action since Tuesday. Burger's long ball was Clase's first earned run allowed since April 14, which spans 24 appearances. Rotowire.com Jun 9, 3:28 pm

    • Notches 14th save
Kimbrel worked a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 14th save of the season in a 6-3 win over the Rays. He didn't walk or strike out a batter.

Advice: The veteran closer let his defense do the work, getting outs on a flyball, a groundball and a popup in foul territory. Kimbrel hasn't been tagged with an earned run in 10 straight appearances, converting all six of his save chances during that stretch with a 10:0 K:BB as he puts his early season struggles behind him.
