    • All Rise: Aaron Judge homers in win over A’s
Aaron Judge went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer on Wednesday, powering the Yankees to a decisive 7-3 victory over the Athletics.

Advice: Judge’s ongoing struggles at the dish haven’t gone unnoticed by fantasy managers, but he managed to put together a couple solid at-bats in this one, taking Athletics starter Joe Boyle deep for a two-run shot in the opening frame. It was his fourth round-tripper of the season and first time leaving the yard since April 14. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar is going to emerge from his ice-cold start at some point, it’s just a matter of time. Rotoworld 23 minutes ago

    • Another start at shortstop
Rafaela started at shortstop and went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 8-0 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Rafaela made a fifth consecutive start at shortstop, which could be his primary home for the rest of the season. While his defense in center field will be missed, moving him to the infield allows the Red Sox to get better bats into the lineup. That's is important for a team missing Trevor Story (shoulder) and Triston Casas (rib). Rotowire.com 51 minutes ago

    • Sent down to minors
The Cardinals optioned Walker to Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: Walker has hit just .155/.239/.259 this season and was recently demoted to the eight spot in the Cardinals lineup. Rather than letting Walker continue to work through his struggles at the big-league level, the Cardinals have elected to have the 21-year-old do it in a lower-pressure situation at Memphis. Alec Burleson and Ivan Herrera could both see upticks in playing time while Walker is in the minors. Rotowire.com Today, 8:11 am

    • Cardinals option Jordan Walker to Triple-A
Cardinals optioned Jordan Walker to Triple-A Memphis.

Advice: It wasn’t the major league start the 21-year-old outfielder expected and because of that, the team will send him to Memphis to continue to develop. Walker made the Cardinals’ Opening Day roster, but slashed a horrid .155/.239/.259 in his 67 plate appearances. He didn’t record a hit in 12 of his 20 games played this season. • Hit hard in loss
Rodriguez (3-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Angels after allowing seven runs on 11 hits and a walk while striking out seven over 4.1 innings.

Advice: Rodriguez allowed a career-high 11 hits and nearly matched his career high with seven runs allowed. While the 4.1 innings pitched was a season low, he still was able to rack up seven strikeouts, which were his most since April 5. The Angels scored at least a run in each of the first four innings and 10 of the 14 balls put in play against Rodriguez were hard hit. The 24-year-old now sits at a 4.45 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 34:9 K:BB in 28.1 innings and will look to get back on track in a divisional showdown with the Yankees. Rotowire.com Today, 7:06 am
    • Nabs second steal
Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The veteran outfielder crossed the plate multiple times for the first time in April, while the steal was his second of 2024. Hernandez got off to a quick start to his Dodgers tenure but has cooled down of late, slashing .226/.328/.321 over his last 15 games with only one homer, five RBI, seven runs and a 32.8 percent strikeout rate. • Inefficient in no-decision
Paxton came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Nationals, allowing one run on five hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out only one.

Advice: The veteran southpaw needed 89 pitches (52 strikes) to record his 14 outs, but Paxton wouldn't have gotten a win even if he had completed five innings as the Dodgers didn't take the lead until the eighth. He's issued at least three free passes in three of his four starts so far in 2024, and while his 2.61 ERA looks good on the surface, Paxton's 1.55 WHIP and 11:17 K:BB through 20.2 innings are very worrying. He'll try to sharpen his control in his next outing, a homecoming of sorts for Big Maple this weekend in Toronto. Rotowire.com Today, 6:40 am
    • Three hits Tuesday
Cronenworth went 3-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Tuesday was Cronenworth's second three-hit effort of the year and his first since the team's opening series in Japan. Despite a productive evening, Cronenworth has been struggling to hit lately and does not have an extra-base knock since homering April 12. Over his last eight games, the 30-year-old is slashing just .200/.351/.200 with one RBI, four runs and a 7:5 BB:K. Rotowire.com Today, 4:04 am
    • Grayson Rodriguez roughed up by Angels in defeat
Grayson Rodriguez was pummeled for seven runs and 11 hits in 4 1/3 innings Tuesday in a loss to the Angels.

Advice: Rodriguez blamed the poor showing on leaving too many pitches down the middle of the plate. He got 14 missed swings and seven strikeouts, but 10 of the 14 balls in play against him were hard hit. It’s his first loss of the year, leaving him 3-1 with a 4.45 ERA. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:42 pm
