    • Michael Harris II not cleared to resume running
Michael Harris II (hamstring) has been throwing and taking swings but has yet to be cleared to resume running.

Advice: The dynamic 23-year-old outfielder is making progress in his recovery from a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, but it’s hard to put a clear timetable on a potential return to the Braves’ lineup until he starts running again. Expect Ramon Laureano to continue to see increased playing time in the Braves’ outfield at least through the All-Star break. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:32 pm

    • Sitting down against lefty
Pederson isn't in Arizona's lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Pederson will step out of the lineup Friday as the A's prepare to send southpaw JP Sears to the mound. Blaze Alexander will fill in as the Diamondbacks' designated hitter and bat second. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:50 pm

    • Yet to resume running
Harris (hamstring) has not yet been cleared to begin a running program, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Harris is two weeks removed from suffering a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, and while he's feeling better, it's not yet to the point where he's able to do any running. With just over two weeks until the All-Star break, it's possible Atlanta will hold Harris out until the start of the second half. Jarred Kelenic has been handling center field with Harris out. • Heston Kjerstad not in Orioles lineup on Friday
Heston Kjerstad is not in the Orioles’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Rangers.

Advice: The 25-year-old slugger went 2-for-3 with a homer, walk, two runs scored and three RBI on Thursday night, so his reward appears to be a spot next to Orioles’ skipper Brandon Hyde on the bench on Friday night. Colton Cowser will start in his place in left field and bat fifth against Max Scherzer and the Rangers on Friday evening in Baltimore. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:34 pm
    • Taking seat Friday
Kjerstad is absent from the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Kjerstad clubbed his first home run of the season in Thursday's win over the Rangers in what was his third straight start against a right-hander. However, he will begin this one on the bench versus Texas righty Max Scherzer. Colton Cowser will occupy left field for the Orioles. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:28 pm
    • Stays hot in win
Steer went 2-for-5 with a double, a two-run homer and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Steer hit a leadoff double in the third inning before coming around to score Cincinnati's third run of the contest, adding a two-run shot off Miles Mikolas in the following frame. The 26-year-old has recorded multiple hits in three of his last four games, tallying six RBI over that stretch. Steer's batting .286 in June with four homers, 16 RBI and 11 runs scored. • Hits first homer of season
Kjerstad went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI, two total runs and a walk Thursday in an 11-2 rout of the Rangers.

Advice: Kjerstad kicked off a big offensive game by Baltimore with a run-scoring single in the first inning and added a two-run homer in the third. The long ball was the first of the season for the 24-year-old, who returned from the minors Monday following a largely unsuccessful stint in the majors earlier in the campaign. Kjerstad's second go-round has been much better than his first so far, as he's gone 4-for-11 with two extra-base hits across four games since his most recent call-up. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:05 pm
    • Kjerstad hits home run, drives in three in win
Heston Kjerstad went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored, a home run and three RBI against the Rangers on Thursday.

Advice: Kjerstad’s home run was his first of the season. He started the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning and his two-run home run off Jon Gray in the third inning gave the Orioles a 6-0 lead. Anthony Santander had the night off with Kjerstad playing right field. Baltimore has a glut of outfielders, but Kjerstad will at least rotate in and could start to see regular playing time with more games like the one he had on Thursday.

    • Double, homer in win
Castro went 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over Arizona while also being hit by a pitch.

Advice: Castro was hit by a pitch in his second at-bat and responded with a leadoff double on the first pitch in his next trip to the plate, before then coming home on a double from Trevor Larnach. The utility man would add a two-run homer in the fifth to increase Minnesota's lead to seven runs, giving him two homers over his last five games. Castro has also hit safely in nine straight, posting multiple hits in five of those contests. He's batting .405 (15-for-37) over that stretch with eight RBI and nine runs scored.
