Considering he's exceeded 30 homers seven times in his career, it shouldn't be surprising if he has a big second half in 2024, though his slow start could prevent him from reaching that milestone this year. The right-hander left Wednesday's game with a lead, but Matt Strahm couldn't maintain it, though the Phillies went on to win 5-3 anyway. Of the 43 pitches he threw, the Royals swung-and-missed at just one and took only four called strikes. That’s untenable for a pitch he threw 49% of the time.       Advice: Wheeler gave up only five hits with a pair of run-scoring doubles from Cubs rookie Pete Crow-Armstrong accounting for all of the damage against him across six frames. He induced 13 swinging strikes and finished with a 28 percent CSW. The 34-year-old fantasy ace has allowed two earned runs or fewer in 15 of his 18 starts so far this season. Fortunately, the Pirates wound up rallying for a walk-off victory in the bottom of the 10th inning.
