    • Jesús Sánchez collects three hits, RBI in loss
Jesús Sánchez went 3-for-4 with an RBI on Wednesday in the Marlins’ loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Sánchez was one of the few bright spots for Miami in this one as he opened the scoring with a run-scoring single off Red Sox starter Brayan Bello and wound up finishing with three hits. Unfortunately, the rest of the Marlins’ lineup wound up tallying just six hits combined in an eventual blowout loss. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:40 pm
    • Jhonkensy Noel batting .235 through six games
Jhonkensy Noel went 1-for-4 with a single on Wednesday in the Guardians’ loss to the White Sox.

Advice: It’s admittedly an extremely small sample size, but Noel is batting just .235 (4-for-17) with eight strikeouts in six games since being called up last week from Triple-A Columbus. The 22-year-old slugger has also homered twice during that span, but it’s really been an all-or-nothing stretch for him so far as he adjusts to life in the majors. There’s some appeal here for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues if he can make enough contact to consistently showcase his mammoth raw power. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:20 pm

    • Aaron Judge tops vote getters in American League
Aaron Judge led all vote getters in Phase 1 of voting for the All-Star Game and was named to his sixth American League All-Star squad on Wednesday.

Advice: It’s the fourth straight year that Judge will represent the American League in the Mid-Summer Classic. Here’s who will join him in the starting lineup for the American League All-Stars (with their number of times making the All-Star team and starting in the game in parentheses): 1B: Vladimir Guerrero (4 - 3x starter), 2B: Jose Altuve (9, 6x starter), SS: Gunnar Henderson (1 - 1x starter), 3B; Jose Ramirez (6 - 3x starter), C: Adley Rutschman (2 - 1x starter), OF: Aaron Judge (6 - 6x starter), Juan Soto (4 - 1x starter), Steven Kwan (1- 1x starter) and DH: Yordan Alvarez (3 - 1x starter). • Blue Jays recall Steward Berroa from Triple-A
Blue Jays recalled INF/OF Steward Berroa from Triple-A Buffalo.

Advice: With Justin Turner set to miss a few games while on paternity leave, Berroa will add depth to the Blue Jays’ bench. The 25-year-old has had a solid season at Triple-A Buffalo, slashing .296/.387/.456 with eight homers, 37 RBI and 30 stolen bases (in 38 attempts) in 239 plate appearances. He’s unlikely to see enough action to be relevant from a fantasy perspective. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:46 pm
    • Back in action Wednesday
Vierling (foot) will start at third base and bat leadoff during Wednesday's game versus Minnesota, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Advice: A sore left foot has prevented Vierling from playing in Detroit's last two games, but he seems to be feeling better ahead of Wednesday's contest. The 27-year-old has gone 4-for-20 with a homer and three RBI over his last five games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:10 pm

    • Recalled by Toronto
The Blue Jays recalled Berroa from Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Berroa will move up to the Jays' 26-man roster with Justin Turner placed on the paternity list Wednesday. In his four minor-league outings since being optioned down to Buffalo on June 25, Berroa has gone 4-for-13 with five runs, three walks, one home run and five RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:20 pm
    • James Wood batting third for Nationals Wednesday
James Wood will start in left field and bat third for the Nationals on Wednesday night against the Mets.

Advice: It only took two games for the 21-year-old phenom to slide into a premium spot in the Nationals’ lineup, and as long as he hits he should remain there indefinitely. The premium spot in the order should lead to ample counting stats to go along with his dazzling blend of power and speed — making him a must-add in all formats for the remainder of the season. • Goes yard Tuesday
Soler went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Soler hit .284 in June, but he had just three homers over 26 contests for the month. He's off to a decent start in July, though his power remains down overall. The designated hitter is slashing .229/.309/.406 with 10 homers, 32 RBI, 42 runs scored, 17 doubles and no stolen bases through 73 games this season. His .177 ISO is the lowest it's been since the 2017 campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:44 am
    • Goes yard again
Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: Alvarez has homered in back-to-back games to open up July, bringing his season total to 18. The 27-year-old featured in the Astros' five-run fifth inning, plating Cesar Salazar and Jose Altuve on a three-run shot off Jose Berrios with two outs. Alvarez is 10-for-25 (.400) with eight runs, five walks and one strikeout across his last seven games. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:54 pm
