    • Huge day at plate
Happ went 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double and six RBI during Thursday's 10-2 win against the Phillies.

Advice: Happ blasted his 12th dinger in the fourth with a three-run blast from the right side of the plate that put the Cubs on the board, then turned around and repeated the feat from the left side of the plate in the fifth. It was the second multi-homer game of the season for Happ while the six RBI represent a season high. Happ, who entered the day batting 6-for-38 (.158) over the last 12 games, raised his season average from .227 to .238 with 13 homers, 20 doubles, 50 RBI, 47 runs and seven steals. • Ian Happ hits two three-run homers in rout
Ian Happ went 4-for-4 and hit a pair of three-run homers as the Cubs crushed the Phillies 10-2 on Thursday.

Advice: One of Happ’s remaining hits was a double, giving him 11 total bases in four plate appearances. Unfortunately, he was on deck when the bottom of the eighth ended, denying him a chance to add on. Happ has seven homers in his last 18 games after totaling just six in his first 64. He’s added about 100 points of OPS in three weeks and is currently at .238/.351/.448 for the year. Rotoworld Today, 1:58 pm

    • Orlando Arcia still out Thursday with tooth issue
Orlando Arcia (tooth) remains out of the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Giants.

Advice: Arcia hasn’t played since last weekend and underwent a dental procedure earlier this week to address an abscessed tooth. The 29-year-old shortstop figures to be ready to return at some point in the coming days. Rotoworld Today, 1:36 pm

    • Sitting again Thursday
Arcia (tooth) isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Thursday's game versus the Giants.

Advice: Arcia will miss a third straight game Thursday as he continues to deal with an abscessed tooth. Zack Short will pick up another start at shortstop as a result and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 1:07 pm

    • Thomson: Schwaber could return on Tuesday
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said “it’s possible” that Kyle Schwarber (groin) could return on Tuesday when the Phillies begin their series against the Dodgers.

Advice: Schwarber is already running at 90% on the field and has not yet been on the IL for a week, so he likely wouldn’t need any rehab assignment if he progresses quickly. There are a few days to go, but it sounds like we might get a minimum stay for Schwarber on the IL. Rotoworld Today, 12:23 pm

    • Working out at 90 percent intensity
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Thursday that Schwarber (groin) is going through drills at 90 percent intensity, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Advice: Meanwhile, Thomson pegged Bryce Harper (hamstring) and J.T. Realmuto (knee) at 70-to-75 percent as they go through drills. While it's possible all three players make it back prior to the All-Star break, Schwarber would appear to have the best shot to do so. He's coming back from a left groin strain. • No run support in loss
Hudson (2-12) took the loss Wednesday against the Brewers, allowing three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out four in 4.2 innings.

Advice: Hudson and the Rockies quickly found themselves trailing after Christian Yelich took the right-hander deep in the opening frame. Hudson would later display more control issues that have plagued him much of the season. The Brewers tacked on another run in the second after a walk, a wild pitch and a base hit. He then loaded the bases in the fifth and walked in a third run before being replaced with two outs in the frame. The 29-year-old now owns a 5.84 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 48:46 K:BB in 86.1 innings this year. He lines up to face the Reds on the road early next week. Rotowire.com Today, 8:43 am

    • Picks up fifth win
Wacha (5-6) earned the win Wednesday over the Rays, allowing one run on two hits and three walks while striking out eight over six innings.

Advice: Wacha gave up a first-inning home run to Isaac Paredes and settled in from there with another excellent start. He's now allowed two or fewer earned runs in eight straight starts and matched his season high with eight strikeouts. Wacha owns a 3.74 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 75:26 K:BB in 84.1 innings and lines up for a road start against the Cardinals next week. Rotowire.com Today, 8:39 am
    • Racks up three hits
Duvall went 3-for-4 with a double and one RBI in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Giants.

Advice: Duvall has hit safely in five straight games, though Wednesday's performance was his first multi-hit effort since June 13. The veteran outfielder batted a paltry .136 in June, even worse than his .184 mark on the year. He's added a .569 OPS, six home runs, 21 RBI, 19 runs scored and no stolen bases through 217 plate appearances. Duvall has occasionally served in a short-side platoon role, but he should continue to have steady playing time in right field as long as Ramon Laureano (oblique) is out.
