    • Shohei Ohtani drives in three against Rockies
Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI against the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: Ohtani stepped to the plate with the bases loaded in the second inning and cleared the bases with a double to tie the game. He later knocked a base hit for his second hit of the game. The 29-year-old star is slashing .317/.388/.608 with 20 homers, 58 runs scored, 52 RBI, and 16 steals across 332 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:23 pm

    • Hitting bench Wednesday
Clement is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Clement had started at third base in each of the past three games, but he'll give way to Addison Barger for the series finale. Isiah Kiner-Falefa has paced the Blue Jays with 33 starts at the hot corner this season, but he's likely to see most of his playing time at shortstop for the foreseeable future while Bo Bichette (calf) is on the injured list. Rather than leaning on Clement as its everyday third baseman during Bichette's absence, Toronto could opt to use a committee of Clement, Barger and Orelvis Martinez at the position. • Logan Webb settles for no-decision against Cubs
Logan Webb allowed two runs over seven innings on Tuesday in a no-decision against the Cubs.

Advice: Webb coughed up a two-run homer to Dansby Swanson in the second inning on Tuesday evening at Wrigley Field, but managed to keep Chicago’s potent lineup off the scoreboard into the late stages of this one. He struck out five and only issued one walk. The 27-year-old righty has completed six frames in eight consecutive starts since May 10. He’ll bring a solid 2.99 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 82/21 K/BB ratio across 99 1/3 innings (16 starts) into a rematch on Monday against the Cubs back at Oracle Park. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:55 am
    • Tallies third homer
Hayes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Reds.

Advice: Hayes tallied the Pirates' only run with a solo home run in the seventh inning -- his third of the season. The performance also extended his hitting streak to a modest five games, though he has no multi-hit performances in that span to go along with only two RBI and two runs scored. Hayes has a disappointing .084 ISO across 215 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:59 pm

    • Homers in Tuesday's win
Ohtani went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 11-9 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Ohtani batted leadoff for the second game in a row, and it looks like that'll be his spot as long as Mookie Betts (wrist) is unavailable. While Betts' absence is a big one for the Dodgers, Ohtani should be plenty capable of filling in atop the order, given his excellent batting skills and his noticeable speed. The 29-year-old has multiple hits in four of his last five games, and he's up to a .316/.388/.608 slash line through 325 plate appearances this season. Ohtani has added 20 homers, 49 RBI, 57 runs scored, 16 stolen bases, 20 doubles and two triples. His RBI numbers may dip, but that should be offset by a slight uptick in crossing the plate himself. • Grabs one-out save
Phillips struck out the only batter he faced to earn the save in Tuesday's 11-9 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Alex Vesia issued a two-out walk, and Phillips was able to strike out Hunter Goodman on five pitches to secure the save after the Dodgers' ninth-inning comeback. Aside from a three-run misstep in Pittsburgh on June 6, Phillips has pitched well since his return from a hamstring injury. He's at 11 saves with a 1.89 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 22:6 K:BB over 19 innings this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:09 pm

    • Evan Phillips retires one batter for 11th save
Evan Phillips notched a one-out save against the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: The Dodgers initially brought in Alex Vesia for the ninth tonight, but they turned to Phillips after Nolan Jones walked with two outs. Philips responded with a strikeout of Hunter Goodman, giving him his 11th save. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:20 pm

    • Short outing vs. Mariners
McKenzie (3-4) took the loss Tuesday against Seattle, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over 2.1 innings without recording a strikeout.

Advice: After holding the Mariners scoreless through his first two innings, McKenzie allowed five of the first six batters to reach safely in the third, ultimately surrendering four runs before the Guardians turned to the bullpen. The 26-year-old McKenzie has struggled of late -- he hasn't made it through six innings in five straight starts, posting a 7.04 ERA in that span. Overall, his ERA is up to 4.48 on the season with a 1.46 WHIP and 65:42 K:BB across 70.1 innings. He'll look to right the ship in his next outing, currently scheduled for this weekend at home versus Toronto. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:15 pm

    • Locks down seventh save
Diaz earned the save in Tuesday's 7-6 victory over San Francisco, firing a scoreless inning during which he allowed one hit.

Advice: After an RBI double by Pete Alonso provided New York with the lead in the top of the ninth inning, Diaz entered in the bottom of the frame to gather his second save since returning from the injured list June 13. The flamethrowing closer yielded a leadoff single to Jonah Heim before inducing a groundball double play and flyout for his seventh save this season. After struggling with an 8.68 ERA over 9.1 innings in May, Diaz looks healthy again and has regained control of the Mets' closer role. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:58 pm
