      Advice: Hoerner appears likely to avoid a trip to the injured list as he attempts to play through a small fracture in his right hand. The 27-year-old second baseman was held out of the lineup on Tuesday for the fourth straight contest, but was able to come off the bench as a defensive replacement in the late innings. The biggest question for fantasy managers is whether the lingering hand issue will impact his offensive performance moving forward, even if he doesn’t wind up requiring a lengthy absence.       Lowe went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Cubs.

      Advice: After the Rays tied the game earlier in the ninth, Lowe launched a 3-2 splitter from Hector Neris into the right-field bleachers for a three-run homer, giving Tampa Bay a 5-2 victory. It's the third homer for Lowe this season and his second in six games -- he's gone 6-for-23 (.261) with 10 RBI in that span.       Brandon Lowe went 1-for-5 with a game-winning home run in a 5-2 win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

      Advice: Lowe had been hitless in the game before coming to the plate in a tie game in the ninth and belting a 287-foot home run off Hector Neris for his third home run on the season. Lowe is now 8-for-30 in June with two home runs and 10 RBI while playing most days for the Rays.       Jake Cronenworth homered, doubled and scored twice as the Padres topped the A’s 6-1 on Monday.

      Advice: Cronenworth has two homers in three games after going his previous 19 games without one. His exit velocity numbers have trended downwards after a surprisingly hot start in April, but he’s still performing better than his decline the previous two seasons indicated he would; he’s back up to .267/.331/.463 after tonight.
