    • Draws first start at 3B since 2019
Guerrero will start at third base and bat third in Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: According to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com, Guerrero has been taking grounders at third base in pregame workouts throughout the season, but he was believed to be more of an emergency option at the position after he had seen the bulk of his starts at first base or designated hitter over the past four-plus seasons. Regular third baseman Isiah Kiner-Falefa is healthy, however, and will get the start at second base Sunday, so Guerrero's inclusion at the hot corner could signal that the Blue Jays may be willing to give him more regular work at the position moving forward. Guerrero will be starting at third base Sunday for the first time since Sept. 27, 2019, with all four innings that he's played at the position since then coming as a replacement for a starter during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. • Reaches twice in loss
Greene went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: That's consecutive two-hit games for Greene, who has his batting average up to .244. While that's a dip from the .288 figure he recorded last season, he's sitting with an identical .796 OPS so far thanks to an early power surge. Greene has blasted 10 home runs across 57 games after going deep only 11 times in 99 games last year. The 23-year-old seems primed to set a new career high in long balls in 2024, and it could happen soon if he stays locked in at the plate. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:00 am

    • On base three times in loss
Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: The first baseman continues to make consistent hard contact. Guerrero hasn't gone two straight games without a hit since late April, and over his last 30 contests he's slashing .368/.452/.479. He's still not providing the power expected of him and has just seven doubles and two homers during that stretch, and while he's in the 98th percentile in average exit velocity at 94.2 mph and in the 99th percentile in hard-hit rate this season, an average launch angle of 6.1 degrees -- down from 10.5 degrees last year -- is limiting his fantasy production. • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swipes base in loss to Bucs
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swiped his second base of the season and scored the Blue Jays’ lone run in Saturday’s loss to the Pirates.

Advice: The 25-year-old slugger smacked a one-out single off of Mitch Keller in the sixth inning, advanced to second on a line drive off the bat of Bo Bichette and scored the Jays’ only run on a two-out RBI single by Dan Vogelbach. He also drew a walk in the opening inning and swiped second base, but was left stranded there. Guerrero finished the day 2-for-3 and is now slashing .292/.390/.406 with five homers, 25 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Saturday, 2:58 pm
    • Knocks three hits in loss
Witt went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 11-8 loss to the Padres.

Advice: Witt had multiple hits in five of his last six games in May, adding seven RBI despite just two extra-base hits in that span. The shortstop hit .315 through the end of April and exactly matched that mark in May, showing excellent consistency. He's added a stellar .917 OPS, nine home runs, 42 RBI, 51 runs scored, 16 stolen bases, 16 doubles and six triples over 59 contests this season. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:11 am
    • Back in lineup Friday
Semien returned to the starting lineup and went 1-for-4 in Friday's 8-2 loss to Miami.

Advice: Semien was back in the lineup after he sat out Wednesday's game, breaking a streak of 349 consecutive regular-season starts. As it turns out, Semien was dealing with the residual effects of a collision with teammate Adolis Garcia, per Kennedi Landry of MLB.com. Texas manager Bruce Bochy said Semien was feeling "banged up," which was the reason he sat out Wednesday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:06 am
    • Swipes second bag
Greene went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 7-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Getting the start in center field and batting second, Greene was the only Tiger to record multiple hits on the night. The 23-year-old has reached base eight times in the last four games, and on the season he's slashing .239/.343/.449 with 10 homers, two steals, 22 RBI and 37 runs through 56 contests. • Marcus Semien returns to lineup Friday vs. Marlins
Marcus Semien singled on Friday in his return to the Rangers’ lineup.

Advice: Semien was held out of the lineup for Wednesday’s series finale against the Diamondbacks due to some lingering general soreness following a collision with teammate Adolis García earlier this month. The 33-year-old ironman had made 349 consecutive starts for the Rangers since May 12, 2022. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:40 am
    • Goes deep again
Arenado went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Arenado has homered in each of his last two games. The third baseman's power numbers are still way down -- he's at five homers and a .379 slugging percentage through 53 contests -- but his recent stretch could be a sign of him heating up. On the year, he's batting .257 with 26 RBI, 22 runs scored, 10 doubles and no stolen bases over 226 plate appearances. Not counting the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Arenado hasn't hit less than 26 home runs since 2014, but he needs to get going to hit that mark this season. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:03 pm
