    • Carlos Estévez records second save in two days
Carlos Estévez recorded his 10th save by pitching a perfect ninth against the Padres on Tuesday.

Advice: It was another easy ninth for Estévez; he’s thrown just 19 pitches in earning saves the last two days. Since he’s had it so easy and he received five straight days off prior to pitching Monday, he might be allowed to work again tomorrow should another save chance arise. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:52 pm
    • Josh Bell has two hits in loss to Rays
Josh Bell went 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

Advice: Bell is coming off a solid month of May, where he slashed .311//365/.466 with three home runs and 18 RBI in 27 games. He’s carried that over into June, going 4-for-12 in his first three games of the month. The 31-year-old is a likely trade candidate this summer and could benefit from a change of scenery, especially if he’s going to keep hitting as well as he has been. He could be a well-timed stash in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:07 pm
    • Grabs 12th save
Bednar delivered a perfect ninth inning against the Dodgers on Tuesday to earn the save in a 1-0 victory.

Advice: It's the seventh straight scoreless appearance for Bednar, who's allowed just one run over his last 10.1 innings. After a rocky start to the year, Bednar's lowered his ERA to 5.92 with a 1.23 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB across 24.1 innings while going 12-for-15 in save opportunities. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:56 pm
    • David Bednar notches save in win over Dodgers
David Bednar pitched a scoreless ninth inning in a 1-0 win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: Bednar didn’t allow a hit and also didn’t record a strikeout in the inning. The right-hander has thrown seven straight scoreless outings and has been scoreless in 10 of his last 11 appearances. After a rough start to the year, the All-Star is coming around to be one of the more reliable closers in fantasy again. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:53 pm
    • Royce Lewis homers against Yankees in return
Royce Lewis clubbed a solo homer and walked twice on Tuesday in the Twins’ loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Of course. Lewis made an immediate impact in his return to Minnesota’s lineup on Tuesday night in New York, taking Yankees veteran reliever Tommy Kahnle deep for a seventh-inning solo shot to left field. The 25-year-old reached base safely in all three of his plate appearances and has two homers in just two games played on the year. The central question for fantasy managers moving forward is whether he can stay on the field for an extended period to establish himself as an elite fantasy contributor at the hot corner. • Keibert Ruiz goes 0-for-4 against Mets
Keibert Ruiz went 0-for-4 in the loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: We wonder how Riley Adams feels about being back in Triple-A while performing better than Ruiz both offensively and defensively these last two seasons. The 0-for tonight leaves Ruiz at .199/.239/.288 for 2024. He has to be better than this offensively, but the Nationals seem to be at a complete loss for ideas to improve his defense. • McKenzie hit hard in no-decision against Royals
Triston McKenzie allowed five runs on nine hits in 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: McKenzie allowed four extra-base hits on the day but three of them were home runs, including two by Bobby Witt Jr. The lanky right-hander was able to pitch well after word came out that he was pitching through a tear in his throwing elbow; however, he’s now allowed 12 earned runs over 15 1/3 innings in his last three starts. McKenzie’s off-speed pitches posted 10 whiffs on 19 swings, but his four-seam fastball didn’t miss bats and got hit hard. Given his injury and lack of velocity, McKenzie is walking a tightrope and doesn’t need to be held in all fantasy leagues. He now has a 4.16 ERA on the season heading into a tasty matchup against the Marlins on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:13 pm
    • Absent from Tuesday's lineup
Raleigh is not in the Mariners' lineup Tuesday versus the Athletics.

Advice: Raleigh had a three-game hit streak but will begin Tuesday's matchup from the bench. In his place, Mitch Garver starts behind the plate and Mitch Haniger is the DH. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:40 pm
    • Twins activate Royce Lewis for Tuesday return
Twins activated INF Royce Lewis from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Lewis is officially back at third base and batting fifth for Tuesday’s highly-anticipated series opener against the Yankees in New York. The talented 24-year-old homered and went 2-for-2 on Opening Day before leaving with his quad injury that cost him over two months. Lewis has the talent to be a major fantasy contributor, but there are going to be questions on whether he can stay on the field based on his lengthy injury history. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:38 am
