    • Tyler Kinley gets win in 10th inning
Tyler Kinley received a victory for pitching a scoreless 10th inning Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: Only the truly desperate for saves should be rostering Kinley, but he is the top option in the Colorado pen at the moment. The scoreless outing tonight was his fifth in a row, as he lowered his ERA to 8.02. Rotoworld 22 minutes ago

    • Bryse Wilson tagged for five runs by Rockies
Bryse Wilson gave up five runs in four innings Monday versus the Rockies.

Advice: The Brewers used an opener in front of Wilson tonight, and Rob Zastryzny worked a scoreless first before exiting. Wilson, though, didn’t benefit from coming in to start the second. His last five outings have seen him give up seven, zero, five, zero and five runs, so maybe he’s due for a good one next time out. Rotoworld 22 minutes ago

    • Trevor Megill works scoreless ninth in tie game
Trevor Megill worked a scoreless ninth in a tie game Monday against the Rockies.

Advice: Megill got a visit from the trainer after apparent tweaking his ankle while covering first base, but he was allowed to continue. He wound up preserving the tie in the ninth before the Brewers lost in the 10th. Rotoworld 23 minutes ago
    • Sent to Triple-A
Roupp was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, per MLB's transaction log.

Advice: Roupp was hit hard for three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two over 2.2 innings Sunday against the Dodgers, and his performance has resulted in a demotion. The club has yet to make a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Today, 8:37 pm

    • Yields five runs in bulk role
Wilson did not factor into the decision in Monday's 8-7 loss to the Rockies, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out three.

Advice: After pitching to a 5.19 ERA across 26 innings in June, Wilson continued his run of poor performance in Coors Field. The Milwaukee right-hander allowed five or more runs for the third time in his last five appearances. He now sports a 4.27 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 62:28 K:BB over 78 innings this season. Things aren't going to get easier for Wilson, as he's currently scheduled to make his next outing versus the Dodgers in Los Angeles. It is currently unknown whether he will follow an opener again. • Surrenders four runs
Gomber did not factor into the decision in Monday's 8-7 win over Milwaukee, allowing four runs on nine hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out three.

Advice: The Colorado southpaw faced only 10 batters over three scoreless innings to open this outing before falling apart in a five-hit, three-run fourth. Gomber has now allowed four or more runs in five consecutive starts, churning out an unpleasant 8.65 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 16:4 K:BB across 26 innings. Overall, the 30-year-old sports a 4.72 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 59:24 K:BB in 87.2 innings. He is tentatively scheduled to make his next start against the Royals at home. • Secures fourth save
Garrett earned the save in Monday's 9-7 win over the Nationals. He faced two batters, allowing one hit and striking out one.

Advice: With Edwin Diaz still out due to suspension, Garrett entered with a three-run lead and two outs in the tenth inning. The previous reliever, Tyler Jay, left runners on first and second to clean up. After allowing a run-scoring single to Keibert Ruiz, Garrett punched out Luis Garcia to bring New York back to .500. Diaz is eligible to return from suspension July 6, but until that time, Garrett looks to be the favorite for saves in the Mets' bullpen. Rotowire.com Today, 7:53 pm
    • Quality start in no-decision
Peterson did not factor into the decision in Monday's 9-7 win versus Washington, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk over 6.1 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: The New York southpaw scattered seven singles en route to his third quality start of 2024. After issuing eight free passes across 10.1 innings in his previous two outings, Peterson was much sharper in this appearance, walking fewer than two for just the second time this season in six starts. The 28-year-old now sports a 3.51 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 22:14 K:BB in 33.1 overall innings. He is currently slated to make his next start against the Pirates in Pittsburgh this weekend. • David Peterson turns in quality start for Mets
David Peterson threw 6 1/3 innings of two-run ball Monday in a no-decision against the Nationals.

Advice: Peterson struck out just two and gave up seven hits, but since he’s quite good at keeping the ball on the ground, those hits produced just 10 total bases. He remained 3-0 with a 3.51 ERA through six starts. We don’t entirely trust him at this point, but he’s a valid option in deeper leagues. He’ll face the Pirates next. Rotoworld Today, 7:32 pm
