      Alexis Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 2-1 win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

      Advice: The save was Díaz’s 16th of the season and fifth in the month of June. It was a nice rebound from his tough outing against the Brewers last time out and Díaz has now thrown a scoreless inning in eight of his last 11 appearances. The bigger key for the 27-year-old was that he didn’t walk a batter in this outing, only the second time in June he’s accomplished that.       Duran retired the only batter he faced to earn the save in a 6-2 win over the Athletics in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader.

      Advice: Cole Sands left two runners on with two outs, but Duran was able to get Abraham Toro to ground out to end the contest. This was Duran's first save in five appearances, though he added a hold and two wins in that span.
