      Advice: Rafaela is having a productive June, but he entered the game on a 1-for-18 run. The multi-hit effort was his eighth of the month, and the infielder/outfielder is batting .417 (20-for-48) over the last 13 games. This was his third start at shortstop in as many appearances, as manager Alex Cora adjusts to get his hottest bats in the lineup; Jarren Duran slotted in as the center field while David Hamilton manned second base Friday.       Advice: Arizona manager Torey Lovullo confirmed late Friday that Gallen will take the ball for Saturday’s showdown against the Athletics after making it through a bullpen session earlier this week without any issues just a couple days after tossing a 67-pitch simulated game. The 28-year-old righty has been out since suffering a Grade 1 right hamstring strain back on May 30. It’s obviously an extremely favorable matchup for fantasy purposes and there shouldn’t be any limitations from a workload standpoint for Gallen in his return from the injured list.       Advice: After spending nearly a full month on the injured list thanks to a right hamstring strain, Gallen will officially return to the D-backs' rotation Saturday. He never appeared in a rehab game with one of Arizona's minor-league affiliates, though he did throw a handful of simulated games, reaching 67 pitches in his most recent session Monday. It's unclear if the 28-year-old righty will be operating under a pitch/innings restriction during his first start back, but he will certainly have a favorable matchup against an Oakland offense that ranks 28th in MLB in runs scored (305).       Gilbert allowed two runs on four hits and struck out three without walking a batter over six innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: Gilbert had posted back-to-back starts of eight shutout innings, so this was a small step back. It was an improvement on his previous start versus the Twins, in which he allowed a season-high eight runs over four innings in Minnesota on May 9. Since that start, Gilbert has completed at least six frames in each of his last nine outings, earning eight quality starts in that span. He's at a stellar 2.72 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 102:21 K:BB over 112.1 innings across 17 outings this season. Gilbert's lined up for a tough matchup versus the Orioles in his next projected start.       Logan Gilbert gave up two runs in six innings while not factoring into the decision against the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: Gilbert struck out three while allowing just four hits and no walks. The right-hander saw his streak of 21 scoreless innings come to an end when Carlos Correa socked a two-run homer off the right-hander to give Minnesota a 2-1 lead. Outside of that, it was another outstanding effort for the right-hander, and concludes a June that likely will see him win AL Pitcher of the Month.       Winker said after Friday's game versus Tampa Bay that imaging had revealed no structural damage in his right knee, and he's hoping he'll be able to play Saturday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

      Advice: Winker tweaked his knee after his foot got caught in the outfield turf while running down a flyball during the first inning Friday. He had to come out of the game early and was noticeably limping as he walked to the dugout, though it appears he managed to avoid a significant injury. Winker's defensive duties could be limited the rest of the season, as top prospect James Wood is expected to join the big-league roster Monday and take over in left field.       Advice: The 30-year-old outfielder injured his knee while making a terrific catch in the outfield to end the home half of the first inning.
