    • Opens scoring with homer
Machado went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Machado has picked up the pace in the power department with five homers over his last 12 contests. He's batting .354 (17-for-48) in that span while adding 14 RBI. The third baseman is up to .264/.314/.411 slash line with 11 homers, 47 RBI, 39 runs scored and five stolen bases over 82 contests. Considering he's exceeded 30 homers seven times in his career, it shouldn't be surprising if he has a big second half in 2024, though his slow start could prevent him from reaching that milestone this year. • Cal Raleigh blasts solo homer in loss to O’s
Cal Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Orioles on Wednesday.

Advice: Raleigh’s solo homer in the sixth inning off Keegan Akin provided the only offense the Mariners could muster on Wednesday against Baltimore. The 27-year-old backstop is hitting .201/.288/.394 with 15 homers, 51 RBI, and four steals across 313 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:42 pm

    • Ryan Mountcastle (illness) returns to action
Ryan Mountcastle (illness) returned to the Orioles’ starting lineup for Wednesday night’s battle against the Mariners.

Advice: Mountcastle sat out each of the team’s previous games due to illness, but he’s now feeling much better and is right back in there as the Orioles’ designated hitter and cleanup hitter. On the season, he’s hitting .273/.317/.460 with 11 homers and 40 RBI in 325 plate appearances over 78 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:39 pm
    • Back in lineup
Mountcastle (illness) will serve as Baltimore's designated hitter and bat fourth Wednesday against the Mariners, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: After missing two games while fighting off an illness, Mountcastle will now return to the starting nine against Logan Gilbert and the M's. Mountcastle had gone 4-for-17 with an RBI and a run scored in his last five games before getting sick. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:31 pm
    • Homers twice during win
Turner went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI during Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Turner homered off Hayden Wesneski in the third inning to give Philadelphia a 3-0 lead, and then again in the fifth to put the team in front, 5-1. An RBI single in the seventh frame capped off the Phillies' scoring and gave Turner his sixth hit in the past two games. The 31-year-old shortstop is now slashing .367/.406/.667 with two homers and six RBI over his last seven games and has recorded four multi-hit performances in that span. • Teoscar Hernández plates three in Dodgers victory
Teoscar Hernández went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI on Tuesday night, propelling the Dodgers to a walk-off 6-5 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Hernández got the party started in the first inning with a two-out RBI double off of Ryne Nelson. He also drove in the game’s second run with a fielder’s choice in the third inning. The best was yet to come though, as he dropped a two-out RBI single into left field off of Paul Sewald in the ninth inning, delivering a come-from-behind walk-off victory and sending the Dodgers’ home faithful into a frenzy. With the three-hit night, the 31-year-old outfielder is now hitting .254/.316/.480 with 18 long balls, 58 RBI and four stolen bases. Rotoworld Tuesday, 11:21 pm

    • Walk-off hero Tuesday
Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Hernandez plated the Dodgers' first two runs and then helped them finish off the back-and-forth game with a walk-off single in the ninth. This was his first multi-hit effort in seven contests -- he'd gone just 2-for-23 (.087) over his previous six games. Hernandez is up to .254/.316/.480 slash line with 18 home runs, 58 RBI, 44 runs scored, four stolen bases, 17 doubles and a triple through 84 contests. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:13 pm

    • Trea Turner homers twice in win over Cubs
Trea Turner went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Cubs.

Advice: Turner hit a solo homer in the top of the third inning to give the Phillies a 3-0 lead and later returned to hit a two-run shot in the fifth inning to push the lead to 5-1. The Phillies start shortstop now has five homers on the season and has hit safely in five of his last six games. Turner is slashing a solid .338/.386/.487 on the season but hasn’t offered much as far as steals are concerned, which could be chalked up to the hamstring injury he returned from a few weeks ago. • Still out Tuesday
Mountcastle (illness) isn't in the Orioles' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: An illness kept Mountcastle out of Sunday's game versus Texas, and he'll remain sidelined Tuesday as he continues to feel under the weather. Ryan O'Hearn will get the nod at first base while Heston Kjerstad serves as the DH. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:29 pm
