    • Runs bases with no issues
Manager Rob Thomson said Saturday that Harper (hamstring) had a "good day" running the bases and will run the bases again Sunday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Harper has been dealing with a low-grade hamstring strain since June 27 but has been progressing well enough to potentially return prior to the All-Star break. The 31-year-old was participating in on-field drills at 70-75 percent intensity earlier this week and is slated to run the bases again Sunday. Harper becomes eligible to come off the injured list Tuesday. Rotowire.com 26 minutes ago

    • Bryce Harper (hamstring) runs bases on Saturday
Bryce Harper (hamstring) ran the bases without any issues on Saturday.

Advice: In fact, the session went so well that the 31-year-old superstar is going to repeat the process on Sunday. Kyle Schwarber is expected to be activated from the injured list on Tuesday, and Harper isn’t expected to be far behind him. If Sunday’s session goes well, it’s not out of the question that he could be ready on Tuesday as well. The Phillies’ offense should be getting some strong reinforcements next week. • Idle against LHP
Bauers is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Bauers will be on the bench for a third consecutive game, though Saturday's contest is the first of that span against a southpaw. Rhys Hoskins will play first base and bat sixth. Rotowire.com 44 minutes ago

    • Jose Miranda ties record with hit in 12 straight at-bats
Jose Miranda went 2-for-3 with one RBI in a 9-3 win against the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Miranda came into this contest having collected a hit in ten straight at-bats. After he was hit by a pitch in the first inning, he made it 11 straight at-bats with a single in the second to drive in a run. And with another base hit in the fourth inning, Miranda tied the all-time record with a hit in 12 consecutive at-bats. The streak would end with a fly out in the sixth. The 26-year-old infielder is slashing .328/.370/.531 with nine homers and 43 RBI across 262 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 1:55 pm

    • Jon Singleton slugs two-run homer in loss
Jon Singleton went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Singleton brought two of the Astros’ three runs in to score with a two-run blast off Joe Ryan in the fourth inning. Limited to a strong-side platoon against right-handed pitching, the 32-year-old is hitting .285 since the start of June. He’s up to seven homers on the season with a .710 OPS across 229 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 1:52 pm

    • Idle Saturday
Jones isn't in the Rockies' lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

Advice: Jones has gone just 1-for-13 with seven strikeouts over his last four games, and the Rockies will give him a chance to clear his head Saturday. Sam Hilliard will get the nod to start in left field instead while batting ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 1:49 pm

    • Ben Rice launches three homers versus Red Sox
Ben Rice went 3-for-5 with three homers and seven RBI to power the Yankees to a 14-4 win over the Red Sox on Saturday.

Advice: What a day for the rookie. Starting at first base and hitting leadoff, Rice got the scoring started with a solo blast off Josh Winckowski in the first inning. He later launched his second homer of the game, a three-run shot off Chase Anderson in part of a seven-run fifth inning for New York. Rice then went yard for a third time with another three-run homer in the seventh. The 25-year-old is off to an impressive start with the Yankees, slashing .294/.383/.588 with four homers and 12 RBI across 60 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 1:16 pm

    • Cut by A's
The Athletics released Diaz on Saturday.

Advice: After being designated for assignment Tuesday, Diaz will now enter the open market and attempt to latch on with another organization -- likely on a minor-league contract. The 33-year-old posted a lowly .236 OPS in 30 plate appearances while in Oakland this year, and he is unlikely to have much of an impact in the majors at this stage in his career. • Idle vs. lefty Saturday
Carpenter is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Carpenter will begin Saturday's contest in the dugout with Washington sending southpaw MacKenzie Gore to the mound. Paul Goldschmidt will serve as the designated hitter and hit in the cleanup spot. Rotowire.com Today, 11:29 am
