    • Rowdy Tellez stays hot with three more hits in win
Rowdy Tellez went 3-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday in the Pirates’ extra-inning victory over the Cardinals.

Advice: Tellez went deep of Cardinals reliever Giovanny Gallegos in the seventh inning for his fifth round-tripper of the season. The 29-year-old first baseman was ice-cold at the dish to open the year, but appears to have re-discovered his form of late, batting .340 (17-for-50) with three homers over his last 15 games. He’s batting an absurd .409 (9-for-22) over his last seven contests alone. He’s absolutely put himself back on mixed-league radar screens with his recent hot streak. • Mark Vientos hits towering home run in loss
Mark Vientos went 1-for-4 with a long two-run homer on Wednesday against the Nationals.

Advice: This home run was a shot, traveling an estimated 435 feet and hit 106.0 MPH. Despite not getting another hit, Vientos scorched two other balls and remained locked in at the plate. The Mets made him their starting third baseman on May 15th and he has the eighth highest wRC+ in baseball since that day. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:34 pm

    • Jhonkensy Noel batting .235 through six games
Jhonkensy Noel went 1-for-4 with a single on Wednesday in the Guardians’ loss to the White Sox.

Advice: It’s admittedly an extremely small sample size, but Noel is batting just .235 (4-for-17) with eight strikeouts in six games since being called up last week from Triple-A Columbus. The 22-year-old slugger has also homered twice during that span, but it’s really been an all-or-nothing stretch for him so far as he adjusts to life in the majors. There’s some appeal here for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues if he can make enough contact to consistently showcase his mammoth raw power. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:20 pm

    • Bryce Harper leads N.L. All-Star vote getters
Bryce Harper led all National League players in voting for the All-Star Game, getting named to his eighth All-Star team.

Advice: What remains unclear is whether or not Harper — who is currently stationed on the injured list with a left hamstring strain, will be able to participate in the Mid-Summer Classic. Here’s who will join him in the starting lineup for the National League All-Stars (with their number of times making the All-Star team and starting in the game in parentheses): C: William Contreras (2 - 1x starter), 1B: Bryce Harper (8 - 7x starter), 2B: Ketel Marte (2 - 2x starter), SS: Trea Turner (3 - 2x starter), 3B: Alec Bohm (1 - 1x starter), DH: Shohei Ohtani (4 - 4x starter), OF: Christian Yelich (3 - 2x starter), Jurickson Profar (1 - 1x starter) and Fernando Tatis Jr. (2 - 2x starter). • Blue Jays place Justin Turner on paternity list
Blue Jays placed INF Justin Turner on the paternity list.

Advice: The 39-year-old slugger will be away from the team for at least a couple of days as he welcomes a new addition to his family. Steward Berroa was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo to take his place on the Jays’ active roster. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:48 pm

    • Ryan Mountcastle (illness) returns to action
Ryan Mountcastle (illness) returned to the Orioles’ starting lineup for Wednesday night’s battle against the Mariners.

Advice: Mountcastle sat out each of the team’s previous games due to illness, but he’s now feeling much better and is right back in there as the Orioles’ designated hitter and cleanup hitter. On the season, he’s hitting .273/.317/.460 with 11 homers and 40 RBI in 325 plate appearances over 78 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:39 pm
    • Back in lineup
Mountcastle (illness) will serve as Baltimore's designated hitter and bat fourth Wednesday against the Mariners, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: After missing two games while fighting off an illness, Mountcastle will now return to the starting nine against Logan Gilbert and the M's. Mountcastle had gone 4-for-17 with an RBI and a run scored in his last five games before getting sick. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:31 pm
    • Idle Wednesday
Canha isn't in the Tigers' lineup Wednesday against the Twins, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Advice: Canha will get a day to regroup Wednesday after going 0-for-22 in his last six games. His absence will move Gio Urshela to first base while Matt Vierling (foot) covers third, opening up a spot in left field for Akil Baddoo. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:17 pm

    • On bench vs. lefty
Wade is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Wade has gone 3-for-13 with a double and a solo homer in three games since returning from the injured list, but he will take a seat for Wednesday's contest as southpaw Chris Sale starts for Atlanta. David Villar will man first base and bat sixth for the Giants. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:42 pm
